15,000 BTU Multi-Room Air Conditioner —

The fan is so unbalanced that it vibrates the whole unit and this causes sympathetic vibrations in the housing and front cover that are much louder than the noise from the air movement or the compressor. I have tried to damp down the sympathetic vibrations but they just keep returning. Installation was difficult as some screws could not be turned by a regular screw driver and the bolts suppled for the external support did not have usable nuts. The foam strip for closing the gap between the sashes was too thin and I had to purchase a thicker one.
