“Fantastic”

15,000 BTU Multi-Room Air Conditioner — 

I've had an 18,000 btu in my old house and it worked great although as an electrician I had to add a 220 circuit because of it's size. When I bought the house I live in now it had a 14,000 btu air conditioner so I kept it. I bought this new air conditioner from Sears and had it installed because of a serious back injury. I was so impressed that this 115 volt multi-functional A/C unit on the power saver setting is keeping my whole 1260 sq. foot house at the 74% setting. The fan puts out at least 2-3 times more air than the 14,000 btu unit I took out. All I can say is buy it!!!! I am going to save the old unit to supplement the new unit if the temps start creeping above 90%. I am extremely happy with this purchase and it saved me a bunch of bucks because I was thinking about central air that would have been in the neighborhood of about $5-6,000 bucks. For any of the negative reviews I've read i guess I got lucky because it's plenty quiet probably because it's in the dinning room quite a distance from our living area. We feel the fan blowing 30 ft. from the unit that we never got from the old unit even though we've had it since 1991. Happy Camper.
