“Great big A/C”
15,000 BTU Multi-Room Air Conditioner —
This is a great ac unit if you have to cool a big area, I wouldn't put it in the bedroom, its pretty loud. The remote is very convenient. I have only had it for a month so I don't know about its longevity yet, but it is a very solid well made unit so far as I can see. It does not vibrate at all. I had to make my own support for the outside, because I don't have the kind of windows that the brackets that came with it would work on, namely a downward slanting outside window sill. The unit itself slides in and out of the outside cabinet. You mount the cabinet in the window and once you are sure everything is mounted correct, then you actually slide the unit in, which is a very convenient way to do it, I think. The thing I would stress is that this unit should be on it's own dedicated 115V - 15A circuit. If not, anything else plugged in with it, lights, tv's, cordless phones, etc. will all be affected by the compressor when it kicks in. So if you are trying to get away with running a new 220V line by buying this unit, think again, I had to run a new circuit to this unit even tho its only 115V because it needs that much power, it can't be on a circuit with any other devices.15,000 BTU Multi-Room Air Conditioner
