I live in an apartment, and I'm obsessed about making sure I don't damage anything. I saw the Command Strips and decided to give them a try. Initially I just started with the posters. You have to make sure you read the directions and attach the right side to the wall. Now I use them for pot holders, measuring cups, and all the little things that just work better stored out of a drawer. I even bought the ten dollar brushed nickel hook for my keys. I've hung my huge bundle of key chains on that hook, my boyfriend's keys, and my full dice bag (which weighs around two or three pounds) on the hook and it hasn't budged. I had that hook up in my last apartment and it came off the wall clean. When used properly, these hooks really are an affordable answer to keep from blemishing the walls. I've used them for years and I intend to keep using them.
