“Hooks not Strong, Hard to Attach”

I bought these hooks to hold up something as simple as a hat. One adhesive strip wouldn't stay on the wall! One fell when I tried to attach it. Two went on crooked and when i tried to take them off they tore! I ended up wasting a lot of money on cheap hooks that didn't work! :-(
