Anonymous there is no need to solder any think and you dont need to touch the wires I have one of this gauges I changed the battery on mine its real easy, all you need to do is open the lid and push the battery from the side out it will pop out from another site you can push out with pen or pencil.
This tire guage does not fit on the air valve of my car or my daughters car ~ rendering it therefore useless.
My husband loves it. No more trying to figure out how much pressure the old gauge said, this one lights up and shows exactly how much pressure is in it. Small and lightweight. Will fit in tool box, glove box, ect very easily. Get one today!
