This thing is garbage. Save yourself the hassle and get the Craftsman digital gauge from the get-go.
Mine never worked from the start. I would get a reading the first few times I used it, but it would disappear before I could read it. Within one month is was dead. Junk.
This product lasted about a year before the battery died. Trying to replace the battery yourself will do you no good. I think the calibration is lost when the old battery is removed. Only reads 1lb of pressure. Why not make it so we can replace our own batteries rather than sending a $10 item back to the manufacturer? Wasted another $5 on a battery. Junk! Going in the trash!
It never worked from the time it came out of the packaging. I didn't return it because I live an hour away and it only cost $9.99. Don't waste your money on this product.
This is the worst tester I ever owned!! 2 months then low battery warning came on, I purchased it out of town so could not take it back. so I put the $3 battery in a $9 dollar tester and it work for about 1 month.
Then ever thing I tested came up as 1 lb. So it hit the trash!! Since I took it apart could not take it back.
Will not buy any accutire products again. When it did work it was accurate. but built way light had to use kids gloves for sure.
This guage never worked. Error display. Only available online. Closest Sears to my house wouldn't take it back. Had to drive 50 minutes there and 50 minutes home to return the $9.99 product (no shipping refund). Not worth the shipping to send it to the manufacture.
