You've Gotta Get it!

I am a 36 year old mother of three ages 17,10 and 7 and we ALL love to play this game!!! Thank goodness there is something the entire family can enjoy playing w/out killing people! :) The only drawback is that you have to hear certain songs over and over again as you progess in the levels. Most of them... read full review »

What is the obssion about?

Guitar Hero has been out for years now, and I still don't see what all the hype is about.  The game is too simple and doesn't lend itself to the dynamics of other game styles.  There are many other interactive games that would be a better use of our time.

Guitar Hero II offers a cheap option to satisfy anyone under the age of 18 to have some fun.  You don't have to be interested into the Guiar as the title states to have fun with this game.  Personally, I got into it and I am a fan of playing the drums.  Guitar Hero offers a nice selection of your favorite tunes and although the Guitar itself is no where near what an actually Guitar is like when you play it, it's a basic set that allows you to see what your kid is into playing or might have some potential in for possible thoughts of joining a band or for casual playing.  Consider this a step...

Great songs

This game is fun for the whole family. It has songs everybody knows and some new songs to learn. This is great way to spend a rainy weekend together.

This game rocks!!!

This is by far one of the best video games out there. Having never played the old version, it was a little tricky getting used to the game play but there are some pretty good practice sessions that helped me get acclimated. This game is very cool. So cool, in fact, that even my girlfriend, who is not a gamer at all, is begging to play. Over all, this game flat out rocks.

Great Game!

For those who want to learn how to play the guitar....but can't really learn the real thing....you need Guitar Hero! There are 4 different levels going from easy....to extreme! There are over 55 songs to choose from such as "You Really Got Me," or " Carry On My Wayward Son." It is a very fun game even for adults. The price good be a little lower though. But If you and your friends what to try something challenging you have to try out this very fun game! The only thing is though....if you want to play two players, you need to buy another guitar or just use a playstation controller. Otherwise...your... read full review »

Great Game

One of the greatest games to ever come out. We've spent many hours hacking away trying to master some of the harder songs.

5 stars

The new addition of a better rounded multiplayer mode make the gameplay even better than the original. Artists include Aerosmith, Ozzy, Primus, Wolfmother, Dick Dale, Rolling Stones, Guns n' Roses, and many more!
