Adele seemed to have dropped out of nowhere, her smooth, sultry, raspy, soulful voice will yank your spirts, and give you those butterflies in your stomache that you felt on your very first kiss.
Hey lyrics infuse tales of romance, politics, struggles, peace and fierceness all wrapped in one. For instance, one of my favorties, Hometown Glory is an ode to her hometown back in England; she talks about the feeling she gets walking along the streets through her old home town, how fresh the memoires are and how she'll never forget the people she has met. Her lyrics are so genuine and fresh like freshly riped tomatoes. I can't get enough, this girl is going to win a grammy.
Oh and my second favorite, Chasing Pavements, love it! The video toped VH1's Top 20 consecutively, it's a really awesome video, I wish there was a way to post it here, but I'll leave a link of it on youtube at the end of this review ;)
So, I never leave the house without this cd, whether you like, Rock, Indie, New Age, Soul or R&B Adele has it all and she wil bring the music lover/singer out of you!
