Affressh Washer Cleaner —
I have a front loading HE washer and have experienced mold and a mildew smell inside it (and on my towels as a result!). From this community, I've learned that Affresh is one product intended to clean this residue and remove the smell, so gave it a try. Each package has 3 tablets included, which I thought would get me through a month or two, but then learned that the first cleaning requires all three tablets. I have used all three and run a few loads of laundry through the washer and it seems to have done the trick. While disapointing that this even needs to be done, and even more frustrating that the package only included enough product for one treatment, I will probably give this another try. Its certainly better than nothing.
