Agri-Fab 40 in. Lawn Aerator Reviews

Excellent product. Highly recommend. Solid workmanship and good quality parts. Took a while to put together, but nothing complicated. Plugged very nice holes in 2 acre yard with limited ground moisture and four cement blocks loaded on top. Already seeing results. At this price point, you can't go wrong. Larger-width unit models (48" vs. 40") would obviously help you cover more ground faster, but may provide less maneuverability if you have a lot of obstacles. Can fold up against wall nicely in shed/garage to limit floor space coverage when not in use. So happy I bought this!

Excellent Agri-Fab Aerator

I did my homework and read many reviews of various plug aerators before settling on this one. Overall reviews indicated this product was fairly easy to assemble and it gets the job done. We assemble yesterday and took it right out and used it. It actually plugged much faster than I had anticipated, especially with our clay soil. I noticed that several people had missing small parts. I think we found them as we had extra bolts, etc. Thrilled with the product. Looking forward to greener, healthier grass.

does the job

I bought this aerator online and had it within about 3 days. It was fairly easy to put together, just follow the directions. Lots of nuts and bolts! It did the job I expected it to do, just as the other reviews say. My only disappointment was that I found a 48" aerator (essentially the same) for $1 cheaper at a competitor. I have about an acre yard so I wish I would have seen the bigger model sooner. My only advice.....shop around first for size and price. As I said though, this one gets the job done, it just takes me longer than I'd like.

Aerator for my Craftsman Lawn Tractor

Was heavy duty and would dig into my lawn with ease. All I did was add a couple of concrete blocks and tie down with a couple of bungee cords. Very easy to assembly - all parts were there - all instructions were easy to follow and most of all it works. If you have a lawn then you need this Aerator. Good product

good areator

I bought this from sears with free delivery!!! That was great!!! It took a couple of hours to put together but after that it worked really well.Sometimes the plugs would get stuck in the tubes but then that happens with even the golf course ones. A good product and would recommend to anyone.

Aerator Works Great!!

We bought this aerator this spring and have used it about 3 or 4 times. Our back yard needs alot of attention. The aerator works great, we put it together pretty easily and it's been a great help to our yard ever since. Much easier than renting one and dragging it home. I think it's really going to help our grass grow in the rough spots.

riverroad

I have only used my once so I have not really seen the results yet. I think it would be a big benefit if a spreader was added to it. It would be a lot more useful especially, for buyers with smaller yards (5 acres or less). The unit is well built and easy to assemble which is a definitely a plus.

DX73

I bought this core aerator based on price, description, and other reviews. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and no missing parts. I am pleased with the quality. The tray allows for 4 standard cement blocks to be added for penetrating weight. I was impressed with the initial try-out; it does what it is supposed to do. Now that I have one, I intend to aerate my lawn yearly;I have read that aerating is one of the best things one can do for a lawn. I hired a lawn service to aerate several years ago, and the cost then was 1/2 the price of this unit. For someone who intends to aerate routinely,... read full review »
