I've had this unit now, for just over a year now. I have a back yard surrounded by trees and spend a fair few weekends raking / blowing them and bought this to tow behind my lawn tractor to help.
So, there are a few problems with it.
1) It has a crossbar with a cantilevered arm which you can use to pull the bag unit up and tip the leaves out. While in motion the arm can be clipped onto the crossbar, to stop it from moving around, but unfortunately that means getting out of your seat to reach back and clip it in every time. read full review »I have not had an opertunity to use this product and I would say that it overall is designed well and I would love to give this more than two stars, BUT Agri-Fab FAILS overall when it comes to packaging this item. It weighs 92lbs and is shipped in a box that is not structurely sound. The metal bars for the bagging system come in several peices and are not secured in any way inside the box and just freely move around in the box scratching the inside of the orange painted shell. read full review »Here's a heads up to everybody that has one of these tow behind lawn sweeps. If you have a large lawn and you have to transport the debris, in the hopper, for any distance, you will notice the extra wear you submit the brush assembly to and you know how this shortens the life of the works. I have solved this by installing a second pair of 12" lawn mower tires in front of the original. Each side has a handle, reachable from the seat of my mower, that lowers and locks these second wheels into position.
