MY HUSBAD RECEIVED AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT. OUR FAMILY HAS USED MANY TIMES IN SINCE RECEIVED IN DECEMBER. THIS AIR COMPRESSOR HAS MANY MORE USES THAN JUST AIRING UP TIRES. WE ADDED THE PRESSURE GAUGE WHICH SHOWS AM0UNT OF AIR PRESSURE ADDED. SO MUCH BETTER THAN PAYING FOR AIR AT A SERVICE STATION.
Craftsman 1.5 Gallon Portable Air Compressor with Hose and 8PC Accessory Kit
Very light and compact. 150 PSI is more than enough for inflating my car tires and other inflatables. Gets to 150 PSI in 55 seconds upon start-up and has a quick, but loud recovery. NO leaks or any other problems--plug in and go. Very happy with this unit and definitely recommend it for light to medium use.

I purchased this air compressor/Nailer a couple weeks ago for some light projects around the house. I do not need anything huge, or anything great for that matter. My main uses are minor projects, crown molding, filling tires, etc. I saw the price of this modeland thought I would give it a shot since it came with a naier and was cheaper than the others. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. This compressor tank is small, but the underpowered motor takes over 6 minutes to fill up the tank. It also leaks air. I filled it up and let it sit for a few minutes before I used it and after about 10 minutes...

I find it somewhat well planned out. The vertical orientation seems to save space, I like the two quick connects, the drain plug is in a cast iron adapter that holds maybe 2 ounces of water and the 33 gallon tank is a good size. Mine does not leak down at all, with no hoses attached. I've toped off eight car tires and cleaned some parts with a blow gun, without the compressor coming on. Plan on extending the drain, so it can be used easily. The volume of air delivery is good. I used an air chisel for quite a while, the pressure dropped to 80 pounds. I think it's too small for any...

Craftsman 12V Portable Inflator
Got this inflator as a gift Christmas of 2011, used it twice was not impressed. The screw on connector is a terrible idea as you lose too much air while unscrewing and the gauge was off by at least 12lb. Went to use it for the third time yesterday on a car tire, plugged it in and would not power on. Inspected the power plug and found that the plastic inside near the fuse had melted to the spring and fuse which resulted on zero contact with the power outlet. Do not waste your money on this product!
