I love how all my fresh foods are visible near eye level when both doors are open! The shelves, drawers, and door bins are all transparent, so I even see last week's (formerly forgotten) leftovers before they spoil. This will save more money for me than I will pay in the slightly larger electric bill...

Issue 2: Crisper problem- food was freezing. Solution: new fan motor. Solution did not work.
Issue 3: Crisper same problem- Tech's solution: placement of foam over a cold air vent. This did not solve the problem.
Issue 4: Crisper same problem-Suggested solution replace computer board. Waiting for part....

When I saw the word French I knew I had to have this Fridge. Who knows more about refridgeration than the French. I could not believe the way it handles on the highway. They only problem so far is when I hid inside of it to scare my Wife the lights went out and I found it difficult to read and also breath. I drilled a hole in the side and it took care of both problems I can leave a open beer near the hole and use a straw and I dont even have to open the door to get a drink.
I bought the refrigerator about a week ago.It is so much quieter and bigger then the old refrigerator. The pull out drawer and all the space is nice to have.
We didn't really,"need" an new refrigerator but I am happy with the choice we made. The Crisper is certinaly a bonus keeps fruits and veggies fresh longer than our old fridge. The wife loves it, and when she is happy I am happy.
I just love my new Amana French Door with bottom freezer. I can not find anything wrong, love not having to bend down to see what is on the bottom shelf, Deli drawer is great can put left over pizza box in it, we have the one with water inside I would like to see it on out side, but still I would not give up my new Amana

We bought this fridge about 8 months ago. We love the space, the glass shelves, and the style. What we really love is not only the fact that we no longer have randomly frozen items in the fridge like our last fridge caused (especially produce), but that it seems items kept in the crisper drawers last longer. It does seem a might noisey at times, but nothing that wakes me up at night when I fall asleep on the couch by the kitchen.
We bought this Amana two months ago. Our food keeps very well in it, which is THE reason you buy one of these things. In that regard it out performs all other refrigerators we've owned. The fruit and vegetable drawers actually do what they are supposed to do, a first for any refrigerator we've owned. I like the bottom freezer as it accomodates a greater variety of shapes and sizes than the tall narrow freezer with many shelves our previous side-by-side had.
But-- several little design errors that greatly reduce storage capacity could be cheaply corrected to make this an unqualified five star product....

The wife and I replaced our 21 year old Amana(which still runs great in the garage) with this new Amana. I had researched all brands and styles and decided this one was the best for what features we wanted (no water dispenser), and I was right! Everything works great and there is a lot of room to store everything. We like most is the fridge part is at eye level and not having to stoop over to get items in the back of the lower shelf, which slides out to make it even easier. We bought it at the Burlington store and had it delivered, and all the Sears employees, from the salesperson to the delivery...

We purchased this in Jan 2008 and after 1 year, no issues with performance. Adjustable drawers in the doors are very sturdy. Big PLUS is the water dispenser on the inside doesn't take up room in the over all capacity of the fridge. Easy cleaning (2 teenages open & close the doors constantly, so the doors always have hand prints on them to remove ). More than adequate freezer section, although those with bad backs, would not care for the body movement to get the ice out of the automatic ice-maker. Layout for specific drawers ( such as cheese, meats, etc...) are great for organization. As well as...

Our Amana celebrated its first anniversary last week, and it has performed perfectly. It's well-lighted, there's room to store a lot of food, the shelves are versatile, it's easy to clean, it always maintains even temperature, it's quiet, and I don't think we could ask for any more. One of my friends has a very expensive cabinet-depth built-in, and she envies me my refrigerator!
"we had an amana with the bottom freezer before and decided to stick with the same brand. the only reason we got a new fridge was because we didn't know how old the other one was (came with the house been here 12 years) and the molding around the freezer was coming apart. one thing I didn't realize before is with the pull out freezer door you loose the storage you had on the door. and I also ordered it without an ice maker but when it was delivered i had an ice maker that we will never use. the salesman swore up and down I was not getting an ice maker but i guess he was wrong so we lost that room...

I love the clear, moisture control drawers, the pull out shelves and sturdy shelves in the doors. The freezer is is very roomy and the drawers work nicely. Ice maker makes a bit too much ice but that's okay. The doors close without effort.
We are all so happy with the purchase of this refrigerator. It is so quite (even the ice maker) and it (refrigerator and freezer) has tons of room. I LOVE the pull out shelves and I also LOVE the little plastice blue liner things for the stuff in the doors so they dont clank around. This makes any mess VERY easy to clean too. I love the bottom mount freezer. My mom suggested one years ago and I am SOOOOO glad I got one!!!The delivery guys we fairly friendly (one more than the other-he wasn't much a of talker that's all) and helped us with suggestions about our ice maker hookup. They were very considerate...

This refrigerator is the best. By far the most expensive appliance in my home, but well worth every penny. It's quiet and very spacious. The deli drawer is great. I love the slide out shelves and the fact that they are easy to remove. I can store a 3 tier wedding cake easily in this refrigerator.
The sales associates at the East Ellijay, GA Sears are the BEST!! They are extremely knowledgeable and helped with every question I had.
Very pleased customer!
Recommended to everyone.
