“AMANA 25.1 BOTTOM FREEZER ”

I purchase this products less that 5 yrs ago. Recently the condenser stop working and was told the repair would be in excess of $500.00. Very disappointed seeing that this product is fairly new and did not live up to its potential. Have been told by technicians they have had several calls on this refrigerator either with the computer panels expiring or other issues but never quite ran into this problem of a condenser going on such a short life span in all the years they have been repairing. “We love the 1 door feature and the enormous size!”

We bought this refrigerator about 7 years ago and absolutely love it!  We have a home daycare and the height and weight of the refrigerator door doesn't give the little ones the leverage or strength to open the door.  We can keep the fridge well stocked and the closed door is an amazing canvas of magnetic activities for the children.  The children can open the freezer door but even more importantly they just lean on it to close it tightly so they have easy access to ice packs for their never ending scrapes and scratches.  It's wonderful to have all the food you're looking for at eye-level...

“Amana Refrigerator for a family of four”

The most amazing part of this refrigerator is that I keep finding ways to pack more and mor into it after shopping.  The key to saving money is being able to buy one and get one free bargins,especially for meats.  Thsi requires taking advantage of timing sales when the meal planning is not prepared to eat the meat on sale.  With this frig I never have to worry because there are ways to rearrange and really pack it in.  The other great feature is that it can hold four stacks of fozen prepared lunches.  Just think of great hot meals for 2.50 when taking advantage of sales.

“Awesome Fridge”

We purchased this fridge about a year ago. It is awesome! Having your veggies closer to eye level allows you to remember them; which is a big plus, and saves you money. This fridge has a lot of adjustments available so you can change your fridge up to suit your needs with ease. There is plenty of storage and room in this fridge as well. The freezer has a decent amount of room as well. It is bigger than it looks. There are only 2 downfalls to this fridge, and one is something you should keep in mind before purchasing. “2 stars”

Very disappointed with this frig. It is very spacious but the frig. door is so large and heavy when the door is full of items it is so heavy it doesn't close all the way, WHEN YOU SWING IT SHUT. Door closes to the frame then bounces back open . Tends to stay open a 1/4 inch or so you have to give it an extra shove to close completely. (If you notice it at all) Which I am sure loses its energy star effeciveness, because door is not sealed shut. Go with the FRENCH doors and this problem may be solved. “Great value for money”

After a friend recommended this fridge, it is the best purchase we have made. We have now owned it for two years, and it is in perfect condition - still. I love the adjustable shelves, the ease with which the freezer drawers open and the eye level fridge shelves.

“Simply the Best”

This is my second Amana bottom freezer Refrigerator. I had one that had to stay when I sold my house. Now I just bought this one about 4 months ago. It's great. Quiet. Spacious and you will not realize how much better it is to have the Refrig. section at eye level. The only drawback is if you use a lot of ice cubes. The ice maker takes up freezer space. I opted not to have it installed.

“Great unit but....Doors Swings out too far”

I loved this refrigerator until I had to start using it! The reason why I hesitate to give it five stars is because of the very large fridge door. The door looks great, holds lots of things, is very convienient, etc. but when full it swings all the way wide open and unless caught in time, will hit and bang anything in it's way. There is no aoutomatic stop to the door. Because it gets filled then it swings heavy. Watch out if you have young children opening up the door because they usually can't stop the door in time. “Amana, great fridge!”

This is great, very roomy and functions well. The down side is if sometimes things will slip out of the freezer top basket and get wedged behind making it hard to close the door. But, that is only if you have the basket filled to the top. Also, be very careful in the fridge to not block the airvents. That will cause ice in the freezer. Works EXCELLENT in the warm weather.

“Bisque Amana 25.1 cu. ft. Bottom Freezer”

Works super, I agree that the ice tray is a problem as it drops ice behind the large basket. Could use some work to insure the door closes by itself. The light in the refer is large and causes some problems in storing larger items on the top shelf.
