“Good for open kitchen”

We bought this model in spring 2007 and have really enjoyed it. We like how we can put wide items on a shelf, like sheet cakes or trays. “I HATE this refrigerator!”

I have this refrigerator in black and hate it!   I actually called Sears to return it.   It is loud and the handles fall off.   If you pull on the bottom freezers the handle just pops off.   I called Amana they said there might be to much food in the freezer.   Are you kidding me??   Stay...

“Amana French-Door fridge - how did I ever live without this?”

I love my Amana French Door Fridge!  The lack of water/icemaker in the door means that you gain so much more room.  I simply slide out the freezer door for ice and I keep a scoop in the bin at all times.  Scoop up some ice and it's actually easier than waiting for the icemaker to fill your cup...  The slide out bottom drawer of the fridge really does hold any size pizza box you can imagine!  It's great to hold so many other things too!  I prepare all my salad and lunch ingredients for the week, and fill the bottom drawer up with plastic storage containers...so easy and convenient!  The freezer...

“Very Happy with Amana”

I looked into french door refrigerators for some time, before buying this unit. I liked the reputation that Amana has and I wanted to replace my 20 year old GE. I have had it in my kitchen now for about four weeks, and I am very happy with it. The sheer size is impressive compared to what I had. The unit runs quiet although the ice maker tends to make loud thumps when it drops new ice into the ice tray. It took awhile for the dog to get used to that. Otherwise, the front buttons work fine and the water dispenses quickly unlike my old unit. The doors are easy to open/close and the space is terrific.... read full review »

“GREAT REFRIGERATOR”

As many others, I also did some research before buying a new refrigerator. Amana comes out as one of the top ten best brands to buy for refrigerators and I'm very happy with my choice. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a refrigerator with a bottom freezer.

“Love this French Door refrigerato”

My husband and I did a lot of research before making this purchase. It is a great refrigerator, love the french doors, there is so much room inside. We opted for in door ice and water maker and were pleasantly surprised at how little room we lost inside the refrigerator. The freeezer is great, the two rows of pull out baskets make it very efficient and maximizes storage space. So far we love this refrigerator and would recommend it highly to anyone looking to upgrade to french door style.

“amana refridgerator”

Love this refridgerator ! Very impressive, stylish, updated, love the digital front loader water, works great with the large sport mugs. The chefs pantry is a wonderful accent along with the extra cool gallon milk compartment on the door that is 4 degrees cooler for that very cold, milk. The fresh vegetable bins are just great for keeping your veggies fresh ! I am not one bit sorry I bought this, very nice. I also like the freezer on the bottom, saves my back with the fridge being at eye level.
