“This phone is now my third arm...”
About 1 year ago, Hubby wanted me to give a PDA a try. I got a second hand hand me up and enjoyed using it over my paper calendar since it Synced with Outlook. Second hand means short lived...now I can't do without a PDA...When shopping around for a new one and having an AT&T plan, my choices were limited because I wanted Bluetooth, Outlook Sync and preferred a touch screen. The iPhone it was...and thank goodness!! This phone is fantastic. The virtual keyboard took some getting used to, but I am pretty proficient at it now. Sometimes it pops in a wrong word, but just read what you write and you can catch it. My only "complaint" is that you have to pay for ringtones, even if you have already paid for the song thru iTunes. I liked just being able to take an Mp3 and cut it down, but since iPhone is linked with iTunes...it's all about making $$. The battery life is great. I did 1/2 a day of iPod and Internet searching at the same time and it only killed 1/2 the battery. My Dad always complained about the Bluetooth in my car not sounding good with my old PDA and he said, thru the iPhone, it is MUCH better. I would like to be able to put an icon for Contacts on the home screen, but haven't taken the time to learn if that is doable, yet.
