Ultra-Satin will not match stainless steel, so I'd recommend you choose 04658903000 (same fridge, stainless steel version). With all stainless, the refrigerator, dishwasher, and range will go together very nicely, as they all have black plastic trim. You've put together a good mid-level kitchen.

Have you considered installing a waste disposal under the sink?

That is a great looking kitchen! I would be very careful to make sure your refrigerator fits in the space you have as there is no worse headache than buying the refrigerator of your dreams only to find out it doesn't fit!  Of course with all the new appliances it is a good idea to invest in the Sears Master Protection Agreements to ensure the maximum life span of your new kitchen with yearly preventative maintenance checks on top of all parts/labor/service calls covered in the event something happens.

(For the duration of this post, you may pretend my user name is "BlueCrewGuyInNJ")

As MA said, the Ultra Satin finish on the fridge is not an exact match to the rest of the appliances, which would be stainless steel with black detail. Ultra Satin is brushed aluminum, silvery but not as shiny as stainless. While the front finish is close to stainless, it's not an exact match - while some people may like it, some may not.

You've picked some good items - here are my suggestions...

I would suggest instead of the Kenmore dishwasher 13463, you take the $10 step-up to 13893 - a very similar model feature wise - but with european styling. (The control panel is not mounted on the front, but on top of the door, only viewable when open.) Its also a bit quiter, at 57dBA instead of 60dBA.

I really like the look they offer, a full solid panel looks a lot nicer to me than a colored panel with a different colored plasticy panel attached to the top. This also presents another opportunity - if you were to get that same dishwasher in black, you would save some money - and it would still match most Stainless Steel and Brushed Aluminum appliances, since they often have black detail. With that in mind, i have another suggestion:

Instead of the coil range in stainless, going up to one of the radiant tops with an ultra satin finish would give you two options in ranges: 96008 has everything the coil range had except the hidden bake element, but costs more than $100 less. 94338 has the same hidden bake element, and adds not only the ability to pick the size of one of the stove elements, but also hot indicator lights for each element. It comes in at just about $30 more than the one you picked.

Picking both the dishwasher i mentioned in black and one of the two ranges in ultra satin, along with the fridge you picked in ultra satin, you would have the stainless look with enough black details on them to match up well with the dishwasher - all adding up to a very elegant and functional kitchen, at a reasonable price.

Was doing a search on the Kenmore 13463 dishwasher and came across your post. After doing a little more research, I took your advice and purchased the 13893 instead, which was discounted heavily on Sears.com last night.

Thanks!

Ultra Satin or Satina or any other SST look alike are metal painted to look like SST steel and coated to repel most smudges and fingerprints.

When buying multiple appliances for the kitchen, it may be best to stay with same brand manufacturer type with SST as the finishes are more alike, in most cases, just look at other brands, the SST surfaces may be quite different in their grain, hue, color, etc which could end up to be a problem when they are installed in "your" home as also the lighting conditions do in fact have influence on how their appearance looks in your home.

3/4 of one inch.

That is how much "taller" my new Kenmore fridge is then the available cabinet space for it.

LOL!

Fortunately, I've done some cabinet installation work and should be able to "tweak" the offending kitchen cabinet.

The fridge? We're KEEPING our new fridge.

What's that old saying?

Measure twice, cut once.

Or, for new/replacement appliances: Measure atleast ONCE!

99.9999% of people who say they know a refrigerator will fit without having actual measurements end up cancelling/returning the refrigerator because it doesn't fit. I tell 'em that I've seen it happen over and over, but everybody thinks they're the exception to the rule. Well, they ain't!

They might as well be buying shoes for someone they've never met, who lives in another state, whose shoe size is unknown. Sure, there's a CHANCE that their pick will fit, but the chances aren't very good.

And, of course, is someone going to go back to the store where they so proudly proclaimed that they knew it would definitely fit when it didn't? Nope, human psychology dictates that after losing face, they will not set foot in the store until they think the person/people they dealt with have either forgotten the incident or no longer work there. They'll go somewhere where the people don't know how they'd just messed up, and they sure aren't going to mention anything about it. It's always the same, because people are, overwhelmingly, the same.

Of course, AdamO's recollection of Norm Abrams's saying is the best advice: measure twice, cut once (or, at least measure once, and that means measure the space, not the refrigerator that's currently there). It will save all of us a lot of trouble. :)

That's precisely why we have those nifty Sears branded tape measures. Whenever i sell a fridge to someone who doesn't have the measurements written down and with them, after the sale i give one to them and ask them to double check when they get home - and to be sure to measure doorways etc. that may constrain the dimensions along the way to where the fridge will reside. While i do occasionally get a customer who either ignores my advice or just does a bad job of measuring, i pretty much never have to deal with problems of the fridge being delivered but not where it needs to go - instead, i usually have customers that call or come back in to find a slightly smaller model. (In our area, its usually the doorway to the kitchen that causes the problem, and a lot of customers do forget to measure it. Heck, i was even guilty of that once. ONCE.)
