LockedIce Maker in Door

In-door ice maker container causes cubes to melt and stick together, which means dispensing from outside is very unreliable.  Has anyone else had this problem?  What model refrig?

the problems I have seen with these type of fridges is the round air vents that bring air from the freezer to the ice maker compartment. they are blue and are at the left side of the fresh food compartment, sometimes you can have food packaging get caught in these openings and disrupt the air and the ice maker will defrost. Be sure to keep that area clear to prevent loss of ice compartment temperature.
