LockedNEED advise on FRONT LOAD WASHER

I am in DESPERATE need of a NEW WASHER! I have tried to "research" front loaders... the better ones, the top rated ones, the "don't buy" ones... and I am even more confused than ever!! I want to "upgrade" from my top loader! I am the mother of 3 boys, three TEEN-AGED BOYS and a husband that works 2 jobs. ( that means I have a lot of laundry) I wash almost every single day! Tons of towels, socks, jeans, sports uniforms, but I also need a washer that won't "eat" up MY more gentle clothes (skirts, slips, gowns, etc...) I'd like to keep my spending budget under $900. (including extended warranty) I have tried to go buy the "star" ratings in the Sears website, but if you and your friend and neighbor swear by a particular ONE, please share it with me!! I need to purchase one, like yesterday! Thanks

I am sure a few other members will chime in on this one, Mickey1409!  You may want to do a search on the site, too, for older threads on this same subject.  Just type "best washer" to the discussion search bar.
