Great building for the money.

Not at all difficult to assemble, merely tedious. One person can assemble 90% of it in about 16-20 hours, but second person is needed to help nstall bolts and nuts on side panels and roof panels. The optional floor frame kit is quite useful if you understand that it is designed to be installed on a flat,... read full review »

Mixed Bag!

I have some home and commericial building experience. The unit assembly was a mixed bag. Lay out all pieces in the general location of installation. Made it very easy to go to the next step. Pros: All the pieces were easily identified. Fair price for what you get. Instuctions on squaring up the... read full review »

Tricky Building

Caution: For on line shoppers Sears.com and the store Sears is not the same. I ordered this on line and went to the store to pick it up. The store did not have any in stock and wanted me to purchase this shed again but not at the sale price that I purchased it at, because they was not Sears.com and the sale was from them. Over all the shed is okay for the price, 2 people and 2 days is needed for the job. The floor kit is JUNK!!!! save your money and build your own frame of wood, but if the kit is free use it with your frame. IMPORTANT!!! ground must be leveled if not you will have BIG problems.... read full review »

very good product for the money

I read the reviews before buying and was familiar with the problems people have had.The free floor frame is not useless. I used it to beef up the framing and built my own floor of wood.I also overcame the height issue by building a stem wall around the perimiter of my deck 11" high which allowing 1" for the floor and 4" for the deck frame comes to 16" giving you 3 -16" x 8'strips from a sheet of plywood. this is nailed to the deck frame ,bottom and top plate of the stemwall and it's studs (roughly 9" high) thus locking the whole thing together. It is very sturdy now. One drawback, you'll have to... read full review »

I bought one of these a few years ago. It took 2 people 2 days to assemble it. The included instructions are barely adequate. Two or three times we ended up taking components back apart and re-assembling them (like the roof beam). A word of caution: you MUST secure this building to its foundation, whether bare ground or concrete. Otherwise, as previous reviewers noted, it WILL be blown out of position in strong winds. I installed the building on a 4-inch thick concrete slab. After I saw how easily the building moved (I could easily move it by leaning against it), I purchased the kit to secure it... read full review »

Arrow Buildings 10 x 13 ft. Lawn Building

Building was somewhat easy for us to assemble; manual could be clearer but was sufficient. The materials had to be stored outside while we prepared the foundation and this caused some rust issues, especially with the door skins which rusted thoroughly and had to be replaced. Overall it is a good value and would recommend.

buyer beware

We bought our building from Sears in Hickory, NC. We had missing parts neither Sears or the Arrow company would make this good! I down stand buy either company if they can't stand by their product! We had winds this week they said around 40 mph our buildings roof section bent in half will they make that good or even HELP us get another piece NO!!! I would suggest you look at a different brand because they don't last and WILL NOT stand behind their product! Thanks, disappointed

Decent for the money

Contrary to some of the reviews I read, this is an excellent building for the money. Yes the panels are thin and its not a completely sealed building, however for $400 its near impossible to find something compatible. Also the security of this unit it somewhat poor so consider that before purchasing. Living in the north I think the roof will be fine even with snow. The angle is quite steep and I left the edge trim off so it will slide better. The only time I had an assembly issue is when something wasnt square. Metal isn't as forgiving as wood. Directions are very good as well.

Like My Shed

I got my shed on sale with the free floor kit, so it was a great deal. My ex-husband and I spent about two days working on the shed. We ran out of plastic washers, but a call to Arrow and they sent extras. We had a little bit of a problem with the floor kit, but figured it out. My backyard is not flat so the real problem was building a level platform to put the shed on. We used dek blocks and pressure treated plywood to build a 12' x 16' platform. If we weren't already divorced , building the platform may have done it, as my ex hated me bringing out the level so much. He thanked me for it later... read full review »

Arrow Shed 10 x 13

I bought this shed 10 yrs ago and it's still standing. The roof is a little dented but it's holding up better that I ever expected for Colorado weather.

Nice Shed

For the price not a bad deal.. Metal is thin and easy to bang up...Paint could be a bit better but overall not bad.. For a LIGHT DUTY shed it seem fairly rugged.. BUT will get the reinforcing kit before the snow flies.. PLENTY of Screws with extra 's to boot..They gave me ALOT of extra screws and bolts.... YOU need 2 people to assemble..I did it with 2 1 day and finished the next by myself.. Instructions not bad but could be better.. you need to re read them a few time...

A great value, but patience required

This is the 2nd Arrow Building I've assembled. Arrow makes more expensive buildings, which I assume are excellent. The ones I bought, though, were very inexpensive. So you get what you pay for. The flimsy panels require great care and patience to assemble. I built both alone, which required ingenuity. I got a free Floor Kit on one building. It is very close to useless. You'd be better off building a strong floor by itself. With the Floor Kit I actually LOST about an inch of inside height. I would not use the Floor Kit again. Here's some hints: Buy a Pop Rivet Gun, and Rivets. You'll want to use... read full review »

Very sturdy

At first we were a little iffy about it, but once it was up and went through the rain and wind, it is really sturdy! It wasn't too complicated to put up once you read the print. But we also got the floor kit to go along with it. I think that you would enjoy it.

plan a lot of time w/ no breeze

Ensure you have at least four good friends and 3 electric drill/drivers to complete this in a weekend. It took two of us three weekends to complete(approx. 35 hours), and even a light breeze can and certainly will damage an incomplete structure. A dead level foundation is a must or holes won't line up adding to construction time. Read directions at least four times. I read sections over and over to find out when to put screws in the lower edge of the roof panels. ( I only have a masters degree, you may do better). Also, if you live in an area where it may rain during construction cover materials... read full review »
