Does the job and is simple to use at a reasonable price.
The kit is good for the job intended. I just wish that the instructions for the shed I bought had informed me that the anchor kit needed to be installed BEFORE the flooring went in.
However, I made it work, and it may hold even better that way.
This is a very good anchor kit, however it will only hold the floor down and not the shed itself . Because the shed is fastened to the frame with very small screws. I recommend getting a strap anchor for the shed itself.
The kit looks sound in concept and would be quite helpful in holding down the shed in the wind. Unfortunately, no where does it say that it is only for shed built on dirt, not on a concrete slab. The giant screws go through the frame internally, not external with wires as a tent would be (and how I envisioned). Sears kindly took it back.
I bought my storage shed a little over a year ago. I talked with the associate about keeping it down on the ground during high winds, they recommended the ground anchor kit. I bought it well worth the money. Where I live we do have some windy days and since I have built my shed and installed the anchor kit the shed has not moved. It was super simple to install and well worth the money. If you are buying a storage shed and you can use an anchor kit, get it, you won't be sorry. Another great job Sears.
