This was the 3 shed I've built but the most difficult to assemble. Screws did NOT fit predrilled holes. Almost every hole had to be expanded by hand to fit poor quality screws. It took a lot of pushing on every single screw to get them to grab the metal. The entire assembly had to be done by hand. Very time consuming and wearing on hands. A total nightmare to assemble! Never again! Instructions were good but thin material does bend easily making assembly more difficult. New shed is already sporting several dents! Free floor kit was helpful though.
The instruction manual is poorly written and diagrams are not clear until you assemble parts and find out it should be assembled the other way. Engineers that designed this manual should review and rewrite it. It definitely takes 2 people to assemble this shed because someone has to hold the nut/bolt while the other person tightens it. I received the free floor kit but opted to build a pressure treated frame with 2 x 4's and 3/4" plywood to secure the shed. The shed walls assembled okay, but the roof panels did not all line-up which involved drilling new pilot holes and longer screws. After...
read full review »I got the 10x10, plus the floor kit (free) for $309, shipped to Sears. With 3 people helping - we had it pretty much finished in one day. Expect to "tweak" it a bit for some of the holes to line up. Seems flimsy until it starts to all come together & then it firms up rather nicely. I bought 100 of the 12"x12" concrete landscaping stones as the foundation. ($155 total, from **********) I ended up not needing the floor kit, although I may still install it later. All in all - I'm pretty happy with this shed. I don't expect it to last forever, but it feels fairly solid & keeps the rain...
read full review »I bought this shed because it was looked like a good deal ($299 with floor). I soon found out that I lost that good deal with all the man hours I spent putting this beast together. Honestly, Imagine putting together a cheap propane BBQ times one hundred. The instructions worked but were confusing, I think because they were vague so they work for more than one model.
If you'are up to the challenge it's pretty nice.
Oh yeah, I'm from Oregon and it leaked, I had to use silicone on the roof screws.
Giving 2 stars because
* The Sears guy wouldn't let me take it back after 90 days, I...

I'd go as far as to say it should've been broken down into 2 or maybe even 3 boxes instead of stuffing it all into one. It's nearly impossible to move alone and still difficult with 2 people.
I will say that the directions are very well laid out and the pieces have gone together flawlessly to this point. I cannot wait to get this building completed. It was a very good buy for the price.
Don't waste your time or money. This is a cheaply designed and poorly crafted product. After spending time purchasing all of the extra items needed just to start the task I have ran into fitment problems that prevent the structure's completion and it has already started to rust . It was designed to be outside and it is already rusting. This item should not even be sold by Sears. So instead of having the storage I need I have a $700 mistake killing the grass in my backyard.
I bought this shed for my daughter. Went to assemble it and found that the directions and diagrams confusing. It can't be assembled in the summer because the metal gets too hot. Worst of all, it has a zillion screws and requires two people to assemble. And, every time I went inside to hold a nut or insert a screw, I would bump my head due to the low clearance - and I'm only 5'4" tall. Plus, the pre-drilled holes for the roof panels didn't line up and don't try shifting the frame it if the sun is out!
The only good thing about the shed thus far (and it has taken me weeks to assemble due to the hot...

I initally started off ordering a 10x6 from Sears.com. I received it a few days after, it was packaged O.K. Upon sorting out the parts and starting the frame assembly, I realized they gave me a 10x10 not a 10x6. I wasn't happy at first because I bought the floor frame and pre-planned for a 10x6, but in the end, I'm glad they screwed-up. Needless to say, once I started setting it up and realized it wasn't right, what could I do anyways?...
I can say I pretty much did this shed 90% by myself with help mostly on the roof and the side bolts/nuts that need 2...

I started to put the floor frame together and realized that it was going to be useless (Free Floor Frame for 8 X 8, 10 x 7, 10 x 8, 10 x 9 and 10 x 10 ft.came with purchase). That may work for an 8x8 but not the 10x10. I highly recommend building a wood (as I did) or concrete base to get the level surface you need. If your base is not extremely close to level, the screw holes just wouldn't line up.
I am not a "buy the book" kind of guy and not the sharpest tool in the... , but the instructions were impeccable.Just the right mix...
read full review »Very Very Very important your platform you plan to build this unit on is square and level. I only had 2 holes that would not line up. The instructions are lacking quite a bit, you really need to think about what you are putting together in the pre-assembly and where/and what it will be used for or you will be taking it apart in the middle of the build. Read the instructions completely through before you start. Assembling all the pre-assemblies and assembling a platform was a day and the actual shed only took about 8 hours with 2 people (me and my wife). Wear gloves because a few pieces are very...

The shed can be picked up from the store in a typical SUV as the package is only about 8" wide, 3 feet height, and about 6' long. It is heavy tho (about 250 lbs) so use a dolly/cart to transport it from your drive to the site. Don't open the cardboard package until you're ready to build as some of the inked panel numbers can wash off in the rain.
You can build this shed by yourself, but...
read full review »Lets start with the directions. So unclear and the very important parts, don't show you a clear picture or precise directions. Oh my god, I don't know how many times we put pieces together, taken apart, and put back together.
Holes wouldn't line up! I swear it was another product from China.
And then the roof! None of the pieces wanted to match up to the walls for the ribs. And so crooked! We just ended up screwing the roof down where it layed the best and caulked like crazy! We set mobile homes for a living so don't say we didn't have our foundation squared! We have the tools that...
read full review »Before I bought this, I read everyone's reviews. This helped with any issues before hand. I didn't have any expectations of a Brinks truck when buying it either. I found that everything went together just fine and I believe that it was due to the level and square ground/frame before starting. I built virtually the intire shed by myself with exception to the roof, that was a little tedious. You have to place the roof panels (one on each side) then place the (sealing tape) as you go, when you have half the roof on, you have to place the first roof cap on then proceed with the rest of the roof panels....
