2 of us put this up in one day so not that time consuming. Instructions are for the most part good but some of the pictures do not look like the part(s) you are trying to assemble. I think they are general instructions they use for many models of sheds. My biggest complaint with this model is how paper thin the roof and wall sections are. There are already so many bends and creases just handling them to install and we were being very careful. Honestly, if a small branch falling from a tree hits it, there is going to be a major dent if not a hole of if actually going through the paer thin wafer...
read full review » The shed that we purchased is a just the right size for the amount of stuff that we need to store away. You do need a lot of time and help to put the shed together.
I really recomend that if you don't have the time to finish it all at once, to not start it at all until you do have the time.
Our daughter also put some work into it, she learned how to use a craftsman cordless drill. We had lots of fun putting it together as a family.
The assembly went relatively smoothly. The one exception being that our box was missing a door slide. Since I had taken vacation to assemble the shed, I could not wait for the new one to arrive to continue the assembly. I don't think I'll have a problem getting the slide into the track with a little bending of the track. I'm still waiting on the slide to arrive. It should be here today, I hope.
The one comment from the other reviews that I want to re-emphasize is the floor and frame must be LEVEL and SQUARE. I read these comments before I began and thought I had mine level. All I had...
read full review »When assembing the Arrow Storage Building I recommend two things: (1) before you start the assembly, go to the hardware store and buy a bunch of wood screws 1/2" and bolts with nuts also 1/2". The ones supplied with the Storage Room are roughly 1/4" long and sometimes hard to handle. You will see once you start the assembly and use the one that come with the storage room and the longer one you buy yourself. Also, buy a caulking gun and caulk and seal all the edges.
Excellent product for the cost very spacious well built and instructions are clear and understandable for any level of do it yourself-er
The shed itself comes in a very small but very heavy box. Yes it really is all in there, every screw, bolt, nut & washer you will need and let me tell you there are lots and lots. Make sure, double, triple sure that your foundation is level and square. This will save you a huge headache, we poured a cement pad as the cost was very reasonable.
Every panel is numbered which is very helpful, and just remember that their is a difference between left panels and right panels. Reading the directions and laying out all of your parts will help you tremendously.
You will need to set aside an...
read full review »Based on zoning where I live and having an unattached garage, this was the largest unit I could put up. I wanted to build a more expensive wood one of my own design, however time and money were short. I read the positive reviews and for the price figured I could not go wrong, even i it only lasted a few years. When the Sears guy brought it out in the 6 foot tall 5" thin box, I thought where is the rest of it? Brought it home and read all the instructions before starting-a good idea. I also took the tip from other reviews and bought some silicon to use around the holes. The pre-assembly...
read full review »The floor kit was free with the building and I used it as extra bracing in the building. I built a timber base for the building level and square. The building went together surprisingly easy. Everything lined up and fit. Great buy for an inexpensive building. Only extra needed is a couple tubes of caulking. Most all roof screws leaked a little. Would definitely buy again if needed. Spent about 7 hours to build by myself on a non windy day.
great product with easy to understand directions. good project to get you outside with the family. no problems whatso ever. would buy another one.
The building itself comes in a suprisingly small box but is very heavy. The building is in several peices and you must go step-by-step because it does make a difference or you may end up taking some of it back apart. Instructions are sometime hard to understand! Once it is up it is very nice shed for the amount you pay for it. Would or do it again!
This shed is great for the price but it does "LEAK". I built my own wooden floor as the one you purchase isn't as stable as what I was looking for. The shed goes together rather well. My only suggestion would be to add silicone seal in the product package or at least advise the purchaser that they will need it in the end. The leaks appear mainly around the screws even tho they have the washer behind them. The outer 4 sides of the shed where it is screwed to the flooring also had to be siliconed.
This shed went together very easy, highly recommend that you build it on a level surface as a little slope will make assembly more challenging than necessary. Floor kit is not necessary if you build your own wood floor. Product has a nice finish on it and once assembled is fairly sturdy.
