There are so many mixed reviews on this product i was a little worried to spend so much money on a steam mop, but i am really glad i did. I can't believe how clean the floors feel after i mop with the steam mop. I have a small child and not a lot of time to spend on house chores, this is so quick to put water in and start mopping in seconds.
I am the owner of a 100 year old house, with wood floors and a white vinyl floor in the kitchen. I have bought every kind of mop that a person can buy, and even have hand washed my kitchen floor. I was scared to purchase the shark, with all the bad reviews that the shark has received. My kitchen floor is very hard to keep clean, we own a black lab dog and my husband works outside around coal and is always walking in the kitchen with his work boots on. read full review »Pour in water, plug in, and get ready to mop! I love my Shark Steam Mop. I use it on my kitchen floors and hardwood floors. I have had it for over a year and it has not damaged my floors. I use it frequently. We have saved so much money not having to buy floor cleaner. I still use a regular mop for the occasional heavily soiled floors because the Shark Mop tends to gather at the front of the mop.
I live in s. Louisiana and have 3 indoor/outdoor dogs that track all kinds of dirt and mud indoors. I've tried all the disposable products available to try to keep the floors somewhat clean. Finally, I got a Shark Steam Mop and LOVE IT! No more throwing money in the trash. The steam dries fast and it cleans great. The mop heads just go into the wash instead of the trash. The long cord makes it easy to go from kitchen to living-room through the hall before having to unplug.

Great product, simple to use. Only thing that I would like to see change is to make the option of a larger water supply and a bigger base for cleaning large areas.
This steam mop is great. My hardwoods are cleaner than ever. Feel better about using this on my floors since it's natural- no chemicals on the floors at all! Great for pets (or small children crawling around on the floor.)
More budget friendly than Swiffer in the long run- since the mop covers can be machine-washed and re-used.

The Shark steam cleaner does the job. It is easy to use and cleans without any chemicals.
The Shark Steam Mop is a terrific cleaning tool. It can be used everywhere and on every type of fabric. I even used it on my stove top range and it now is sparkling clean.
The shark was an excellent purchase, easy to use and floors are sparkling!!!!
