I LOVE THIS GRILL!!!

I owned two Weber grills in the past, but due to my financial situation, I thought I would try this grill from Sears (I got it on sale for $34 in March of '08). I knew from the description and my inspection that the features were good -- porcelain coated steel, chrome plated grill, ash catcher and kettle... read full review »

A step down

This SEARS kettle grill is nowhere near as nice as the one it is replacing which was a SEARS kettle grill. The older one was made by a different manufacturer and was much sturdier, the grates and handles that change the distance of the coals to the grill were made of much heavier gauge metal rod. The...

I needed to get a grill for my mother-in-law's place.   This fit the bill at $30.

Set-up : easy, took about 20 minutes which to me was especially easy b/c i was under pressure to get the grill going.

Quality: Only cooked on it twice thus far but everything is holding up. no rattling, very sturdy.  The ash-catcher is a little loose and doesn't fit too well, so while you're scrubbing the grate in-between the grilling, the thing does come loose.  You gotta just be aware that it might fall out.  Perhaps i got a bad one but i think it's the manufacturing.  The cooking grill surface is good, scraped...

i purchased  BBQ Pro 362 sq. in. Cooking Area Charcoal Kettle Grill last Summer and am very pleased with it.  I rarely use my propane grill anymore.  This grill is so convenient.  We enjoy many cookouts using this grill.

I just love our Weber charcoal grill. This is the third one we have had over many years.

This is not because of poor quality but because we used them to death.

Solid

I too got this grill in '06 and have used it heavily, left it out all winter etc ! The poor guy finally gave out ( leg rusted out ) this year so I am getting another one ! I think I'll be bringing this one in over the winter...It's been a great grill and you can't beat the price !

The large cooking surface on this inexpensive charcoal grill is great for when my 5 kids pop in hungry and ready to eat. I just can't do as well with a gas grill, this is my idea of really cooking out....

Somewhat Frustrating Assembly

This is a great grill and would have taken 30 minutes or less to put together but the hardware provided did not fit in the corresponding grill parts - namely, the screws to attach the legs were too big to fit in their tracks, so I had to improvise with random screws of my own. That was the only problem; once it is up and running, its a good, sturdy grill.

Worthy product, grill grid needs improvement

I got this grill for Christmas 2006 and have used it heavily since then. It is perfect for direct and indirect charcoal grilling and has produced many excellent meals for my family. The only downfall I have found in the grill is that after many high temperature cooks the carrying handles on the grill grid are starting to bend and feel quite flimsy. Not a major problem but one that could be addressed. Overall I would reccomend this grill. Sure beats dishing out $90 bucks for a Weber!

Great and cheap

I've used this grill for a year now, as a replacement for a lifetime dedication to Weber charcoal grills. My attitude was if I did not like it, I'd pitch it. Still using it. Really like the ashes pan, the easy clean coated grill and the adjustable rack. For the money, this is a great buy.
