This is great toy to begin with! We start using it when my baby was 1 month old. She liked laying on a mat and looking at toys. It was here favorite toy for 6 months. Now she crawls and not interested to lay on a mat for a long time but she still does it sometimes. We dissconnected all the toys and my baby just play with them without a playmat.
The music is soft and not annoying. It has lights that most of they babies just love.
It can keep babies attention for awhile. My baby spent up to 30 minutes playing with this toy.
I'd recommend this toy for every parent with newborn.
It's easy to wash....

Really great product. Baby enjoyed it for a couple of months until she started rolling around too much. Wish it was less pricey.
