“pans to fry food”

i love these pans they cook my food without any problems. they are lightweight but perfect to use when frying chicken, pork chops, etc

“Great value but have questions...”

I LOVE cast iron and am thrilled with three great frying pans for the price. When I chose them, the box said distributed by a company in the US. When I got them home and was washing them, the bottom says made in China. I am disappointed the "Made in China" wasn't on the outside of the box, clearly visible. With all the problems coming from China-made goods, I'm hoping they aren't made with OR coated with something poisonous. Is there any way to know? I bought two sets and am tempted to take them back because I can't seem to find an answer.

“Good buy!”

These pans don't need much heat as they tend to heat up fast & also hold the heat. This gave me good value for money.

“Excellent value compared to other "houseware stores".”

I have been looking for some cast iron cookware for some time. This 3-piece set was a fantastic value compared to other houseware stores (especially compared to one that promotes cookware exclusively --- 1 fry pan was priced more than this Sears 3-piece set!).

I believe that people who have not used cast iron cookware should give it a try. I know they will be surprised that a properly "seasoned" piece of cookware provides even heat during cooking and "no-stick" for easy clean-up. The other benefit is they last a long time--- almost indestructible!

“Excellent Cookware”

I bought these to add to our cast iron collection, and I was not disappointed. These pans are as good or better than my tried-and-tested old cast iron pans. They're seasoned well, clean easily, have the great non-stick properties of cast iron and that heft that makes them feel like quality. I highly recommend these. And what a price!

“3 iron skillets”

These are great pans, we use them all the time.  They are healthy for you they will put iron into your system just by using them. The only downfall about them is that they don't have lids.  Uther then that they are great, i love them.

“Gotta Love Cast Iron.”

These are a great set of pans.  They come preseasoned.  You have to make sure and oil them after using them.  I know an older fellow that never put soap on his cast iron.

I love the frying pans. They are heavy and they hold heat so there is no need to turn the stove on high when using these pans.

“Good buy”

I was skeptical about buying the pans, but for the price I wanted to try them. I love them. The only problem that I have had is that the smaller two have had a tendency to rust. I don't know if they just weren't seasoned enough or what, but for the price, it is definitely a good deal.

“Basic Essentials 3pc Iron Fry Pan Set”

Needed an 8 inch cast Iron fry pan for purpose of making Irish Soda Bread on St. Patty's Day. A) it is difficult to find an 8 inch iron fry pan B) the price of available iron fry pans is equal to the price of the full set. Have not made Irish Soda Bread yet but have used several of the pans to fry and they are adqute and a GOOD BUY FOR THE MONEY. Especially during these time. I wish lids were available at a comprable price.

“cast iron skillet set”

This set of skillets are a great buy. I was skeptical about them, but ordered them anyway. I can not tell you how much I love them! I was tierd of buying pans, and having the no stick lining peel after only 1 year of use. These pans are no stick without the chemical linings! Very easy to clean too!

“What a great Deal!”

I picked up this set of 3 cast iron frying pans for $13 and change. What a great deal. A single cast iron pan is more than that at the thrift store and it's not new. These pans are weighty, have a limited lifetime warranty (save that paperwork), and the weight is well balanced between the pan and the handle. All in all, the best buy I've made in a long time.
