LockedRage 71/4" Multi Chop Saw

I would like to know what is the max metal material thickness thei can cut, tube and flat pieces.

Also does this saw have the ability to cut at a 45 degree any?

The descriptions in the catalog and website leave some questions.

Thanks,

Rick

That's a good question, though a little on the technical end, as it depends on factors besides thickness, such as what metal is being cut. While I'm not sure anyone here would have the answers you seek, maybe Michelina would be able to pass this question on to our Home Improvement buyer, who might be able to get that information from the vendor. I think, though, that to get the kind of answers you want, you'll have to be much more specific with your questions.

I have the Rage saw and I love it. my only two complaints are that saw dust gets caught in the top part of the saw. And the guide lines that follow your pencil line are not laid out right. I am a remodeler and cuts boards that have nails in them and not having to worry about chipping a tooth is mind settling. I really have not had a chance to use it on flat or tubular metal yet. I am looking forward to it. I have owned it for about 9 months now. I have still not changed the blade out though I bought 2 replacements when purchasing the saw. I do notice that the wood cutting blade cuts threw boards as though they were melted sticks of butter. So I use the multi purpose blade for anything that might have nails and the wood blade for new wood. Hope this gives you some help. You might also watch the DIY.com vid on the saw.
