Craftsman 10 in. Table Saw with Stand
I bought for installing a click'n lock cork floor. It worked very well for that and was not taxed. Since then I've started to get into some woodworking and the first thing I built was a workbench. I changed the blade for a quality combination blade and the saw performed well, even cutting 2 inch thick hard maple. I was able to cut without burning as long as I didn't rush the cuts. The fence is a bit sloppy when locking into place but nothing that couldn't be handled with a ruler. I always measured the blade front and back relative to the fence. The miter gauge is pretty cheesy so I think I'll upgrade...

After much research, I had bought the Craftsman model 21807 the previous month. Very effective while it worked, but it was very unsafe, and the direct-drive motor siezed up after 1 week of use. Got a full refund from Sears. Craftsman is my brand and the brand of both my grandfathers but these days, for anything that doesn't fit in one hand and come with a forever guarantee, well, Craftsman has become Cost-Cutting-Man, with every aspect of design, materials and manufacturing on its low-mid price range power tools being skimped on.
I got this saw 2 weeks ago and paid 450$ for it. I had obsessively...

I bought this saw several years ago, but have used it very little. I would think that in total, it probably had less than 20 hours of use in it. It recently failed during a very minor amount of use and the engine began smoking and began to seize up. The arbor is too small to use anything other than a regular blade, and a dado will not work due to it's arbor size and limited power. You really get what you pay for, but I would've expected a table saw to last a little longer with no more use than it gets in my house. The fence is never accurate and I always had to use a framing square...

The worst QC I've ever encountered. After I get mine back I'll be selling it for parts, with just 14 hours on it! First my "reconditioned" machine had to be returned because of problems with the crank system. Then it had to be returned because of "power fluctuation" detector problems. A new power supply just made the problem worse. Now CW won't or can't fix it. They won't return telephone calls. Wasted money, wasted time.
Craftsman 10 in. Table Saw, Portable
FWIW, I have been an avid woodworker for 35 years. Here's a tip for table saw newbies - If you need a "super accurate" saw, stop looking at bench top style saws or anything else where the blade is mounted directly onto the motor. Direct drive will NEVER be "super" accurate. Pretty good? Sure, a well made, adjusted, and maintained direct drive saw CAN be pretty good. This one falls into that category. Keep it clean and double check your adjustments and you can do very nice work with this machine. Fail to perform proper maintenance... all bets are off.
Having said that, I've had this saw for a few...

1. Already broke one of the cheap plastic knobs.
2. Had to tear it all apart because the gears didn't mesh right and the spindle would not stay in gear....work properly.
3. The main switch will not shut off the machine so I guess I need to replace it or tear this piece of junk apart and try to find out what is wrong with it again.
Craftsman CompuCarve Computer-Controlled Compact Woodworking Machine
Unfortunately, I was one of the countless consumers that bought into the hype about this so-called amazing machine. Was I wrong. I have spent dozens of hours on the phone with tech support trying to get this machine to work properly. I have wasted far too much time trying to get this machine fix, and far too much money on what turned out to be scrap wood for my fireplace. They actually sent me someone else's repaired machine as a replacement for my defective machine, instead of a new one! Even after sending the machine back 3 times for repair, it works for maybe 2 or 3 projects...

Had to take trunnion to machine shop and slot bolt holes in order to align blade with slots. Rip fence will not align with blade. Ordered adjusting plates for rip fence and they have been on order for 3 weeks and still can not get a delivery date. Get a different date every time I call. Face of the miter gage is not flat. This saw looks very well built until you start to do the alignment. It was built in China. Spend an extra couple of hundred dollars and get a good saw or spend couple of hundred dollars less and get a saw.
Craftsman 10 in. MiterMate Miter Saw
I recently use this saw with a good friend on installing chair rail. The saw was very accurate on all of our mitre cuts (inside and outside corners) since none of his wall were not on a true 90 degrees. All of the extensions, laser and fence worked up to our expectation. The only down side was when we had to cut long pieces of wood, had to come up with a creative way to support the material, we had an large empty garage and extra saw horses which helped, but other than that i would recommend this product to anyone who is putting up any kind of trim.
Jet HVBS-56M, 5"" x 6"" Capacity Bandsaw, 1/2 HP, 1Ph, 115/230V"
Fast and easy assembly. Cuts very cleanly and makes cutting angles fast and easy. I would recommend this saw for anyone that has tried to cut steel with anything else and not been satisfied.
Craftsman 10 in. Compound Miter with Stand
Purchased mine at sears on Sept 8,2008 very little use until recently while cutting 1"x1" slots on a 5' 2"x4" pine lumber (making a small 5 step ladder) the motor started smoking, Brought it in for repairs. Received a call a cakk a few days later..the motor would cost $310.00!? or twice what the miter saw originally costs. this not a way to retain a customer, but its a very sure way to lose them. Now i have the mitersaw in my shop as a reminder no more Craftsman power tool purchases for me, and not at Sears.

This saw is a workhorse on the cheap. It does have a narrow table and is easy to tip, but it has held up over the 5+ years I've owned it.
Craftsman Professional 10-inch Contractor Table Saw
For the money would have given five stars, but the manual was so bad that I gave four stars. Ripped a bunch of lumber on it the same night cutting 2 X 6 into 1 X 6 in two passes. This is as hard a work as you can throw at it without any issues at all. Love it and I can easily roll it outside and cut then roll it back inside with the supplied wheels. Rock solid, very happy.
Craftsman 10 in. Table Saw
I have a Craftsman 10 in. Table Saw that the power switch went bad.
I bought a second Craftsman 10 in. Table Saw, on Black Friday, to replace the one with bad power switch and the second
Table Saw power switch lasted a few months. I don't think I'll be buying another Craftsman 10 in. Table Saw again.
I'll be looking for a different brand and try theirs next. I have two Craftsman Table Saws I'll probably put out in yard sale,
