My old vacuum died and when I used this one it picked up a ton of dirt, dust and hair that I couldn't see. This is much better than my old hoover by far. The one part I don't get is how dirt gets on the outside of the hose near the base. It's not enough to make me return it, but it's a bit odd for a vacuum with a hepa filter to have a small amount of dirt collect outside.
Great vacuum cleaner . Powerful suction and nice price.
I really like this vacuum so far.It would be to empty the container after each use. It does not hold that much. Overall it seems to do the trick!
I moved into an apartment and had been searching for a vacuum cleaner that was powerful, light weight, and affordable. I had been using an old Hoover vacuum that was very heavy but I used it because I thought it still picked up dirt. Was I mistaken! When I moved in to this apartment, apparently I inherited an infestation of fleas! After a few days of trying to rid the flea problem with my old vacuum cleaner, with no luck whatsoever, I went out to buy this Bissell. This vacuum cleaner is amazing! I used the vacuum day and night and emptying the canister every time was perfect to get rid of my problem....

the bissell vacuum cleaner is a mean cleaning machine. i use it and my carpets look brand new. it get into corners and picks up most anything. with 6 kids, ive gone through quite a few vacuums but this one is here to stay. its tough and easy to use. powerful yet quiet and the price is a great deal. with so much power, you would think it would be more expensive but the price is a very reasonable deal.
I owned the predecessor model and it lasted 4 years in our household. We have a large family, 2 pets, and vacuum frequently (guessing we average 1-2 hours worth a week at least). 4 years is the longest any vacuum has lasted for us. When it finally broke down, I was glad to find this model at such a reasonable price. I'm on my 2nd generation of this vacuum.
As long as you empty the container, and wash the filter monthly (takes about 5 minutes to wash and needs about a day to dry), it will be a great vacuum. Doesn't require bags. Attachements work well. I do use a floor...
read full review »What really drew me into buying this vaccum was that it had a HEPA filter, was bagless, and available at a super price (~$90). Other vacuums I've used would get the first roller all wrapped up in a ball of string or paper clip I was trying to clean up - and then lock up. What a pain! But this baby took it all in, no problem. It has powerful suction to really help pick up dirt from between the fibers in your carpet and works well in difficult to reach areas.
The only con about this is that the canister has 3 sections of which only one really comes out. To get the accumulated dirt out of the other...
read full review »We have a Sears locally so I went into the store to make my purchase. I got there and they were about $9 higher in price.The store would not match the price so I walked over to the Kiosk by electronics, logged on, purchased the vacuum, and then had to go to merchandise pickup and wait for a few more minutes to receive my purchase. In addition, I had to buy vacuum bags for a Kenmore on a seperate transaction since it was in instore item. How much time could I have saved if they took care of me right the first time!

read full review »We bought this vacuum and have been extremely satisfied. It is very quiet, and also VERY powerful. The bag-less aspect of it is very convenient, and emptying it is very easy to do. I would definitely recommend this product.
For the price, so far it's been a good deal. I've been happy with the pickup power and the attachments.
I bought this vacuum while it was on sale at Sears. It made our carpet look brand new! A little loud, but who cares with all of that power! Unfortunately, it lost suction within a month, and I was really upset. After taking a look at it, I realized the belt had snapped. After a month. Of light duty cleaning! I need to replace it still, and will come back and re-review after that.

read full review »I bought this vacuum at the recommendation of the sales lady at the store. I couldn't be happier with my decision. It totally surprised me and worked much better than I could have expected considering the price and options at the store. I had to have a vacuum that day and didn't want to spend a fortune. I would definitely purchse this product again, if necessary.
