Traded in a new Sears 18 volt line trimmer for the Black and Decker Grasshog because the Sears trimmer had a battery charger problem. Charged the batteries, started using it and found it to be quieter, more powerful, and ran longer on a battery charge than the Sears model did. The 8-9 hour battery charge is not a problem with the 2 batteries provided. The automatic line advancement works well and uses less line than the Sears unit.
