I have an older Hedge Hog that was great on my Honey Suckle that climbs along my fence 150 + feet. But after many uses and my lack of observation I tryed to cut through a piece of rebar and broke trhe blade. This new Hedge Hog lasted one day before the gears started slipping. I took it back and had it replaced. This one lasted a while longer as I used it very gingerly but today it started slipping again. I have used it 3 times before today. I guess I have to go back to the older style blade like my older Hedge Hog has. I need the 3/4 inch cutting for the honey suckle. I guess newer isn't always better.
