Great Trimmer

This is the third battery powered item I bought from Black and Decker. I have the weed trimmer, and the leaf blower also. I like that there is no cord to drag around, and the batteries for these items are interchangeable. I didn't like the big, bulky, heavy equipment that other brands offer. GRIND GRIND GRIND

This was great the first year I owned it. Cut fine, but would never cut through larger branches. Motor is underpowered. Gears stripped just after the warranty ran out. This is the second and last I will ever buy for Black and Decker. Very disappointed in quality and price point.

I've owned this for two years.  It's wonderful!  The 22" length of the cutting edge is really helpful after having owned an 18" -what a difference!

It's a little noisy, but I don't recall any hedge clippers being very quiet -the difference here is that the blades make the noise as they switch back and forth and maybe if I had a noisy gas engine running, I wouldn't notice.

The battery snaps on securely and the system is perfectly balanced.

I'm very happy with my hedge clipper and the battery life has never been an issue.  PLUS, I can't tell you how many times I cut into an extension...

Great Trimmer!

I use this to trim down my rose bushes for the winter.  does a great job at getting them chopped up small enough to get into garbage bags.

Battery packs lasts a pretty long time too.

Works Great

The usable battery life is about twenty minutes, fully charged. I live in the country and do not have hedges. I used it to clean out areas that had thorns, brambles, vines and saplings, making room around the trees I want. I have two batteries and put in a good forty-five minutes worth of work. The hedgehog is easy to use. It is lightweight and has enough balance to use one-handed. I bought the Grasshog trimmer/edger last year and that worked well. The Hedgehog is good complement to that.
