“Very handy and strong, but I wish the battery was detachable”

Black & Decker Drill SC1400 —

The Black & Decker SC1400 is a great lithium ion drill/driver. It is powerful and the power lasts until the very end. I used it to drill many 3" wood screws while building my fence in the backyard. It was sold at Sears for a 4th quarter two years back and never returned. There are some downsides though. The drill is heavy and has a permanently attached battery, so once the battery runs out, the drill is garbage. Being a lithium-ion battery though, that'll be years from now, well worth the money.
