Blackberry - Pearl Smartphone Cell Phone — 

The blackberry pearl is a great phone!  I've had great reception and love the data plan that comes with the blackberry.  It is a little more expensive than a standard cell phone plan because blackberry offers 24/7 internet and email.  I really like having the data plan, but it does run about $30 per month.  If you are looking for a standard cell phone, this in not your best bet.  The blackberry is great is you want 24/7 access to internet and email.   The keyboard is a little small and the functionality of the phone itself isn't very user-friendly.  The sales person that sold me my blackberry was extremely helpful in showing me all the ins and out of the phone.  A little tough to get used to this phone coming from a standard LG flip phone, but I really like it!

An honest review. That's hard to come by. I settled for the LG Dare. I now wish I had gotten the previously-considered BBerry, but it doesn't really matter. I'm returning to Tracfone and the simplicity, since I don't use any of the latest&greatest gadgetry anyway... Thanks for the exceptional review. Going back into my cave now. . .

If you use the internet a lot & check email frequently throughout the day, I would recommend this phone! It's a great phone, but I use my laptop (online) all day and don't generally use my phone internet/email except when I'm away from my computer/work, which is very little! :) Too much going on in MyKmart community land to be gone long!!! The only other "gripe" I have with the Blackberry Pearl is the small keys. I think I would purchase the curve if I had to purchase a Blackberry phone again. If you want a small/compact phone, this is a great phone. If you have large fingers, like my father does (he hated the size of the buttons), I would recommend the Curve. Good luck with your next phone purchase!! That is always one of my favorite purchases...nothing like buying a brand new phone to play with!!! : ) It's like the ultimate adult toy! Let me know what you decide on!

Im thinking about getting a Blackberry for my next phone since Im on the internet a lot and it'd make checking my e-mail and scores and everything a lot easier. The data plan charge doesnt bother me much because some of the aps I have on my phone now are $10 now to check the same things I'd get with the internet.
