Some of the features on this phone are a bit difficult. If I don't lock the keypad, then whenever I happen to sit against the keys inadvertently, I can hear them being pushed. It also will call someone when I don't even know it. I can lock it; I just forget, then I hear someone on the other end yelling...

I love how the blackberry pearl phone fits so unobtrusively into my pocket. It is extremely slim and lightweight so I take it everywhere.
It is does freeze up occasionally, though but only very rarely and never for more than a couple of hours.
I got this with my 2 year contract. great phone for starters, I love the easy to use keyboard. I love to text with this phone. I hate the fact that if you get a number with letter in it you cant figure it out like call 1800 kmart, for example you have no idea what kmart is on key board. but that is the way most phones are anyways. I didnt get a data or internet plan due to budget reasons but it does bb messanger and instant messaging, i never used. it is perfect size not to small and not to big. The Blackberry Pearl Smart phone is not a good choice if you are looking to text message alot or access the internet with this phone. I found both to be challenging utilizing the phone and it takes quite a bit of time compared to other phones. I would not recommend this phone to anyone. It does have some nice features, but they do not measure up enough to make it worth the price.

i have the blackberry pearl (pink) and I LOVE IT! I couldn't live without it. The first one I had, had some issues. My trackball wouldn't click, then my "radio" broke on it and I got a new one. I love it!!!!! I have an app for everything I need. I put a memory card in there and I have over 600 pictures currently. It's amazing. I have verizon, so I have the 3G network, and I get service absolutly everywhere. I have never lost a signal. Only place I find my internet slow is in my break room at work. MY PHONE EVEN WORKS IN ********!!! Now thats saying something. Anyone giving...

I always have problems when I am texting or even dialing on my cell phone. The buttons are too small and I am always having to re-read the message to make necessary corrections. The rolling ball sticks quite a bit and I've only had this phone for about 6 months. I also wish the phone had a still type feature when you are taking pictures. I try and hold the phone as still as possible when taking pictures but it almost always seems to come out blurry. My reccomendation would be to possibly purchase the newer blackberry that are out there instead of this less inexpensive...

The Blackberry Pearl smartphone has become an indispensable part of my life.
It is easy to use which I appreciate. I don't like complicated gadgets. It is just the right size
and I like the case it comes in to protect the phone from going on if I am not using it.
It has a camera for easy shots when something comes up I would like to take a photo of.
I always carry my phone with me but not an extra camera. I would highly recommend this
phone to anyone who is out there looking for one. I have not regretted the purchase.
