Got a rusty table saw?  Get this stuff.

I recently secured a contractor grade table saw from a pawn shop.  It looks like the previous owner used it more to hold his beer than to actually cut any wood.  There were lots of ring marks and a fair amount of surface rust.

Rust Free is not a miracle worker,...

I saw this item in Sears while picking up some accessories for my Table Saw. The saw was originally purchased in 1996, and had developed some rust and discoloration on the table over the years. The Boeshield worked wonderfully removing both. I then used the protectant and put a good coat of film on... read full review »

I've been using T9 for years on my cast iron table tops (table saw, jointer, drill press, bandsaw, planer etc.) to prevent surface rust and stains (I have a basement workshop in Northern Illinois and use a dehumidifier to keep humidity levels below 50%.) T9 works exceptionally well and all the cast iron looks brand new.

Before application, I strip old wax and oil residue with mineral spirits, then apply T9 liberally, let it soak for 30 minutes, then respray and rub it in. After completely drying, I buff the cast iron then apply a non-silicone based paste wax (Johnson's.) Tops are slippery smooth...

Great product, but a bit pricy

T-9 is a excellent lubricant. I use it routinely on metal movong parts that require rust protection. It also is a excellent woodworking tools lubricant. I use it wherever I need to lubricate but don't want saw dust accumulation. The rust remover does a good job as well.

Great product and simple

This product is great for marine use. Spray on engine block & linkage when you get a new motor and let dry. It will look the same when you sell it years later, no rust. Reapply maybe every other off season. Spray coat your galvanized trailer, especially bolts... very limited to no rust for years. Awesome and simple. Dries to "firm wax film" not "grease".

This stuff is great!

I purchased this product a few years ago after reading a review of it in a popular woodworking magazine. This product does exactly as it advertises. I lived in Florida where the constant humidity caused my iron/steel tools to rust in a very short time, which was particularly true with the surface of my tablesaw. I used the product as directed and my rust troubles were a thing of the past. The protection is durable, and only had to be repeated every year or so with normal home use. This product is worth every penny. If there is any gripe, it would be the rust remover, which is an acid based chemical... read full review »

Boeshield T-9 is the best!!

want to get rid of surface rust. Think that cast table is no good? You wont be saying that after using Boeshield T-9. Fast, easy, last all year on my table saw and shop tools. Looks like new, cutting material slides easily-no drag! Best creation for metal protection ever! Period.

If you want to keep your woodworking iron clean you have to protect it with Boeshield T-9. I thought everybody knew that? If not, hurry up and get some at Sears before you suffer top rot.

I asked a sales associate to recommend something I could use to clean and preserve my gardening tools at the end of the New York growing season.  He explained the many uses of this product to me.  I will be using it on many other items as well such as scissors and non gardening tools now.

The staff at my local Sears, Shirley, LI New York has always steered me in the right direction when I need help. Keep them there because this town loves the SEARS staff here.

And I want to EXTEND A BIG THANK YOU TO SEARS FOR SUPPORTING OUR TROOPS!!

Rust remover is great

This is a good product for removing rust from cast iron table surfaces. It is spotty when sprayed directly on to the surface so I apply to a rag first and then rub on to the surface. The lubricant is very durable but does not give me the same feel as paste wax. Use a mask and ventilation, when the rust remover is applied it smells like burning hair. I wuold preffer to only buy the rust remover.
