The stainless inner door liner is badly stained right below the detergent dispenser. The stainless appears to have some sort of coating on it and I can't get rid of the stains.
I don't know who designed the racks in this thing. All the dishes I have fall over or otherwise don't fit any rack spaces properly. The silverware basket's compartments are all too small and it sits right in the middle of the lower rack. I'm using the silverware basket from my old Maytag.
And yes, it does smell funny inside. I have no idea what that's all about.

It is so quiet I have to check to make sure it is running. The first load we ran we compared glasses that were washed by our old GE Pot Scrubber and the glasses just washed in our Bosch. It was like a commercial. Even my 13 year old son was in on it...
I love the deeper inside and the stainless steel. It is worth the money (not that it was much more than the others) and we are very happy

So quiet - don't even know its running. Looks nice but a little smaller than the one it replaced so there's a small gap which was fixed with a strip by the installers. I'm sure I'm the only one who notices. The only complaint is that the refill indicator doesn't tell you to fill until the cycle has already begun. Good buy.

We bought this machine to replace our old Kenmore. Chose this one after reading many reviews. Looks great and sturdy. The machine is very quiet indeed, we can barely hear the noise. It does not have heating system to dry the dishes, but so far it works pretty good though as not dry as the old one; I am happy enough with the electric bills we'd be saving. It does not have many features, but oh well... I barely use the features anyway.

I have been using my new dishwasher for almost a year now and I still love it! It's quiet and efficient. I especially like the quick wash cycle. Doing dishes for one it's nice to be able to run a faster more efficient cycle!! My only complaint is that glasses on the top rack don't wash as well as items on the bottom rack. But all in all this is a great buy!

I did a lot of research before purchasing this dishwasher through the reviews on this site and through Consumer Reports. This got rated very high and I couldn't be happier. Not only is TOTALLY quiet, it is ergonomic. Loading is very easy. Like some other high end models, the items don't come out wet. There was one mistake, Sears delivered and installed the wrong model first -- it was a Kenmore ELITE (I was fortunate enough to try this one for a week while they fixed my order). The Kenmore ELITE was loud, the racks were difficult to load and it was the same price as the Bosch. For the money...I...

This Bosch dishwasher is one of their less-expensive models, but it has all the features that most people would ever need. Most importantly, it is quiet in our open floor-plan home, where the kitchen is open to the family room. We are able to watch TV and have normal conversations without even noticing the dishwasher running.
The only drawback is that the Bosch has a small interior space than most other dishwasher brands, since the interior is not as deep. This does limit the amount of dishes you can put in it compared to others, but only by an inch or two of depth.

We purchased our Bosch Dishwasher after hearing about how quiet they are and how they are highly rated. Well, ours has been quiet -- but it has never cleaned the dishes well. There always seems to be a slight amount of soap residue on the dishes. We've tried a variety of soaps and amounts used, but it always comes out the same. We DO NOT recommend this dishwasher. Not only do the dishes not rinse entirely, we've had several service calls -- one for the drain motor not draining properly (sorry, I do not know the technical name for the parts), and another for the main washing motor (a $300 repair)....

This is a wonderful product, excellent cleaning even in our very hard water, no spots and I've purposely put it through the tests to see if I'd be happy. Excellent cleaning, People complain about the drying, however it will not dry pools of water on items, neither will any other dishwasher. No heating element, means no melted or misshaped plastic items, you can even put plastic on the bottom shelf!!!!
Only downs I see to it are so minimal, that they don't/didn't detour me from purchasing this nor would they. The top shelf doesn't pull out as far as I'd like, but I think that is because it is smaller...

This is the best dishwasher I have ever owned! We just finished a remodel of our kitchen where all the major appliances we have are from Sears. The stove, refrigerator, above the stove microwave right down to the dishwasher. These items are all decent priced and great reliable products. Sears is the best place to buy appliances! The sales rep. at Sears told us this dishwasher had everything we were looking for. It's quiet, not alot of buttons to fool with and you don't have to pre-wash your dishes. She was exactly right! It's so quiet that I forget it's running and I have really tested the pre-wash...

Although this dishwasher does not have many program selections, I love it for its quietness and great performance. We always use it on the quick cycle and it leaves our dishes spotless. I like it that it does not have many options - less things to break. It's simple but it does such a good job! It's really quiet and does not use a lot of water. It is very modern looking and has stainless inside as well. It does not smudge with fingerprints on the outside. I am buying the same one for my new house again, that's how much I like it.

I bought this dishwasher because Consumer Reports and Sears customers recommended it. Now I'm recommending it too. It's quiet, cleans the dishes well, looks good and is easy to use. I'm not impressed by having to program my dishwasher, I'd rather save that for my computer. I just want it to work well, which is, clean the dishes without me having to wash them first. This also has a removeable food trap, so you don't have to worry about food clogging things up. Definitely a great buy for the price too!

I really like the quiet performance of this model. But there are a few things that bother me about the product. It does not have a panel shut-off mode for the lights. You have to manually do this after you run the load. Sometimes, I do not return to my kitchen before morning and the lights stay on.I would not have purchased this model had I known that before. Inconvienent! Also, it is very well made but the seal of the washer is so tight that there is water bubbles on the door after the cycle. It will promote bacteria growth. I do not like that.

I put dishes with just a little food on them and the dishes come out with baked on food. If the dishes are really dirty the machine just sprays the food all over everything. It is a real mess. It smells strange inside too.
