Bosch Condensation Dryer, Model # WTE86300US —

Whether you're interesting in a dishwasher, laundry machines, small kitchen appliances, ranges/cooktops, tankless water heater, power tools, Bosch is the one of the brand that will forever stand behind its name. They have always manufactured products that not only last a lifetime, but carry the most high-end designs, without having to pay and arm and a leg for it.

I've purchased the Bosch Axxis Condensation Dryer for my condo unit and I'm very impressed with it. It's a 24" dryer so it fits in any tight closet, below counter or other tight spaces you wished to have laundry units installed. The Axxis dryer can be paired with the Axxis washer (Model# WAS20160UC) as stacked unit or side by side. I currently have my stacked in a tight closet space with a stacking kit that has a pull-out tray (Model# WTZ11300UC).

The main reason why I purchased this dryer is because there is no venting required. I live in a condominium apartment and it's currently installed in a closet in my bathroom that used to be a shower; it's nearly impossible to vent outside, since there are people living above and below me. This dryer circulates the hot air and sends all the condensation down the same drain your washer uses. It takes a little longer than most dryers to dry heavy clothes, but it's a very small price to pay for not having to vent somewhere. The dryer is extremely quiet and has many drying features.

Do not get discouraged, due to the compact size of the dryer. I live with my girlfriend and this unit's capacity works out great for us. Most standard size machines are overkill and have way too many functions anyway.

I hope this review was found helpful and good luck with your purchase!

Hi,
I would be more than happy to give you my insight. I did a lot of research myself, before getting to that final decision.
I have always been a big fan of LG products and as much as I love LG products, I prefer Bosch laundry machines, especially when it's compact units. They are just made with great quality and last for a long time. I'm not saying LG are bad, but Germans anytime, over a company that manufacture their products in China (although products made in China these days are supposed to be great).

The washer and dryer both have the same dimensions and they are each:
H-33-3/16" x W-23-9/16" x D-24-5/8"
My units are also in a tight closet, so they are stacked with a stacking kit, which comes with a pull-out tray and it's very handy to have. With my units installed, I was still able to install two shelves above it, so it doesn't come up that tall.
I will measure the full height of the machines with the stacking it installed for you.

Here are things you should know:
1 - Does your closet have access to a vent duct that vents outside of the house, or building? I live in condo and I can't vent outside, so my dryer is a condensation dryer (no duct vents needed). It circulates the air withing the dryer and send the moisture down the drain (same drain as your washer). The only downside is that it takes a little longer than a regular dryer to dry clothes, but a very small price to pay.
2 - Does your closet have a gas pipe access? If not, get the electric dryer, which is preferred. The electric will need a 220v - 30Amp 4 pronged outlet (your electrician will know what this is). The washer plugs into the back of the dryer and then the dryer plugs into the outlet, so that works out nicely.

Other than that, you're good to go. Let me know, if you'd like to see my setup, because I can snap a shot and forward it to you.

Let me know, if you have any more questions and I will do my best to help!

Best,
WiLL

Hi there! I've been trying to decide if I want to get the LG or Bosch. My laundry closet is really small and was wondering what is the total height of your two Bosch units plus the tray? Also, what is the width and depth? I'm trying to figure out if it will fit in my closet. Thanks!
