I am very frustrated with this dishwasher---we paid around $500-$600 for this amazing dishwasher..oh so we thought. First off, it was hard to install--took a while with my husband and his friend who has installed many dishwashers. After waiting for it for a month b/c it was on backorder, it finally came and in anticipation for the first washing--it turned out pretty good! After the second wash and so on, i was shocked to what I saw---the glassesd on top "never dry"..they come out with condensation all over them..plus a lot of the plastic cups my daughters use still have juice stains in them...even...
read full review »I am so glad I picked my Bosch dishwasher. It quiet, it doesn't have a heating element so it saves energy and you can put plastic on the bottom rack. The main reason I bought the Bosch was because my old dishwasher leaked ruined our floor, so I wanted a dishwasher that would not do that again. the Bosch has a sealed bottom so that won't happening again. Great peace of mind.
This Bosch dishwasher is amazing. I have a room where my living room and kitchen share a space and I can run the dishwasher and hear the television at the same time. Some of my glasses that were marked from the truly horrible water in Bullhead City, AZ, are shining again. I just love this appliance!!
We have had the dishwasher for several years and we love the quietness of the machine. However, we have never been able to get the rinse liquid dispenser to work.
I wish we could back up the rinse cycle when we forget to add the citric acid to the rinse water. There are no manual controls for it.
When we redid our kitchen, we went to Sears for our new refrigerator and also walked around the corner to look at dishwashers. I was really amazed to find Bosch at sears! The sale price that was listed on it was so great I bought it right away! We bought the extended warrantee, but have only used it to do the yearly check...but he never found any problems. It works like a charm, saves energy on the dry cycle and cleans my dishes like never before! GREAT dishwasher! Sears repair guy is nice too,.
At first I wasn't sure about the Bosch name, but this dishwasher has lived up to all of our expectations. It is very energy-conscious and uses a limited amount of water; but does an excellent job of getting the dirtiest dishes clean AND spot-free. Buy with confidence.
Love this dishwasher! Dishes are very clean. We are conserving energy and water. No heating element makes drying cycle take longer, but it is safer for plastics, and uses less energy.
This dishwaser is so quiet that the installation men couldn't even tell it was running and thought they had done something wrong!
Highly recommended.
Model is SHE43P05UC. Stainless steel tub, no grinder and concealed heating element. No melted plastics, extremely quiet (no need to turn the volume up on tv when it is running, normal conversation level when it is running). Family room and kitchen are one big space and that was an issue. It replaced a cheaply made and extremely loud Frigidaire which replaced a GE. Bosch is the way to go for clean dishes and silent performance.
Pros: quiet, spotless dishes, stainless steel interior (no plastic tub or composite pieces). Top basket can be adjusted to accommodate tall pieces.
Cons:...
read full review »I bought my bosch dishwasher after reading many reviews and doing lots of researh. We bought it at Sears on a 20% off appliances day. We bought the lower end model which had some stainless steel interior, and paid under $500 for it.
It is quiet and cleans well, and is easy to loan and unload. The only issue it has is that you should open it toward the end of the drying cycle to "air dry a little. We just crack it open, and I really don't see it as an issue.
I would reccommend the bosch dishwasher to anyone!
When I updated my kitchen with new appliances recently, I picked my Bosch Dishwasher for the value and options it offered, and because some of friends had Bosch and they ran so quiet. Mine is very quiet and does a great job and looks good too!
I replaced another top brand after 20 years of living with one that sounded like a jet plane taking off. The Bosch is so quiet and works so well-I highly recommend this one!
Energy efficient, VERY QUIET, leakproof: check, check, check.
But we can't load it .
The tines are too close together on the bottom rack, plus they are angled (a straight-up tine would work better).
Can't securely nestle stemware on the top. Glasses tip over. The bottom of the double decker is too short.
Where can soup bowls fit? Nothing is right for them.
Where did they get the dishes to prototype this? Forget about stoneware, maybe Corelle would fit, except that we don't have Corelle.
At least it will NOT leak and ruin my floor like the last dishwasher did. Plus it is very quiet. ...
read full review »I recently bought a Bosch Dishwasher from the Sears Outlet in Hayward, California. I am thrilled with the quietness when washing the dishes. However, a feature I thought was going to be on it, "rinse and hold", was not on the model I recieved. The Auto Wash cycle which is supposed to have sensors that "automatically adjust the cycle length, temperature and water changes based on the soil load" does not seem to change anything about the length of time the washer is in operation, nor anything else and sets the initial time to 118 minutes. That's nearly 2 hours! I have monitored the dishwashing...
