We were looking for a quality stacking set that looked great - this set fit the bill perfectly. One of the shortest sets when stacked (perfect for our low ceiling basement laundry).
Simple, beautiful design with all the functions you really need and great capacity.
BTW, if aquastop ever triggered, it's not resettable - you need to get the part replaced.
Wait for it to go on Sale at Sears or Future Shop (Canada) and then go to ***** - rather than Sears' 10% off the difference, ***** will price match as well as give you full 10% off!
This washer is awesome!! It cleans clothes great, is the most energy efficient one I saw in Sears and is SO quiet I couldn't believe it was even operating! Also you CAN interrupt it during the wash cycle if you forget something, I was worried about this but I added a sock I forgot during the wash cycle today and there was no problem. So happy I went with Bosch, and it is made in the USA!!
Online reviews for front-load washers tend to rate them very high or very low. Some say the machines vibrate terribly and are noisy, others say they're smooth and quiet. Most agree that they clean better than top-loaders. We were replacing a Maytag top-loader that used to dance all over the laundry room. We often had to stop it to rebalance the load. We worried that having the Bosch on the laundry room's wood floor, instead of in the basement on concrete, would cause it to shake and make a lot of noise.

Bosch Washer/Dryer Vision 500 Series
I've taken awhile to write this as I didn't see many reviews when I was in the market to purchase last year and vowed to provide a good writeup for others once I had time to fully evaluate my new purchase of both the washer/dryer SET for at least 9 months.
ULTIMATE REASONS for choosing these units:
EFFICIENT: Most energy efficient (averages 130 kWh/yr) and water efficient (13 gallons per average load size)
SIZE: Most shallow depth of all brands that allowed for it to fit in my space made for the older style top loading washers/dryers

read full review »Love the color and especially like the safety feature Aquastop. It looks great in my new laundry room and I like all of the cycles. Used the comforter cycle to wash all the comforters in my house and the results looked great.
super quiet, huge capacity, more cycles than i'll ever need. my only complaint is the color, but the 200.00 trade in the store offered made it more than worthwhile
