No More Dryer Sheets - An Old Product Improved

Bounce Dryer Bar —

I recently purchased the Bounce Dryer Bar and really like the results!

Years ago, there was a similar product that was smaller, came in a pouch and you stuck it inside on the dryer fin.  (Try peeling it off once when it was time to replace it, and it was like playing tug-o-war with your dryer)  Plus, the pouch became very sticky by the time it needed replacing, and would sometimes "stain" the clothes.

However - this new dryer "bar" seems to be a much better product.  It still gets attached to the inside of the dryer, but on the flat part of the drum, instead of on the dryer fin.

The bar is solid and slides into a locking cartridge, and can be easily removed from the cartridge for loads not needing softener.  (i.e. - cleaning rags)  And supposedly the cartridge also reads "REPLACE" once the product is gone.  (Like we wouldn't be able to tell???)  lol

Best of all - it leaves your clothes soft & smelling fresh, just like the Bounce Dryer Sheets.  And for a little over $4.00 for a dryer bar that (may) last up to 4 months, I think it's worth the money spent.

Why are you not supposed to stick it on the fin? I did not read the instructions first and stuck it on the fin this morning.

I have a front loader too, and have it placed approx. 7" to the left of one of the dryer fins. So far, I haven't had any trouble with the bar falling out. The holder has little clips on each end that's supposed to hold the bar in place. They're not very deep clips or anything like that...infact, they're made kind of cheesy - but that's how the bar's supposed to "lightly" snap into place. I had to wiggle the bar lengthwise a little bit at first to be sure it was secure. So maybe give that a try once? Otherwise, maybe the clips on yours aren't working properly and then you could get a refund or exchange? Good luck to you and I hope this helps you out.

Does anyone know how to keep the bar in? I have a front loader and it doesn't really lay flat so I have to turn it vertically so it really is not touching the bottom of the dryer the whole length of the bar. The first time I used it, I found it rolling around with the clothes. Any suggestions??
