Bridgestone Weatherforce - P235/75SR15 —

I purchased a set of the weatherforce tires and was really disappointed. Especially after reading the glowing reports. I was only 1/2 mile down the road and it felt like I was riding over railroad tracks. One or more of the tires had a flat spot and was creating a tremendous vibration. I took the car back and they rotated the tires. Back out on the road and same vibration. Back again and they then rotated the tires on the rim and said I had a bad rim. Back out on the road and the vibration was still there. When I got out of the car again I noticed the rear rim had a weight on it the size of a butter knife ! It was at this point that I realized that the tire was at fault and not my car or the rim and I asked that Sears remove the tires and replace them with Michelins. Once the Michelins were on, I drove home without a hitch. The Weatherforce tires had been faulty all along and I seriously believe Sears knew this fact from the beginning, especially in light of the fact that one of the wheels had such a massive balancing weight on it trying to correct a poorly made tire. I am happy that Sears didn't give me a hard time about the tires but I am also ****** that they tried to palm off an obviously faulty tire on me. What if that had been a person that wasn't so discerning about vibration as I was. 5,000 miles later and it would have been the customers fault for the tires condition.
