“Great Car Seat”
Britax Convertible Baby Car Seat, Marathon Granite —
I purchased this car seat as a replacement for the Graco infant carrier that my son grew out of at 9 months. He is now almost 12 months and loves his car seat. It is easy to get him in and out and the Velcro to hold the straps back is awesome. I hated having to wrestle the straps out from under him in the infant carrier. I also really like the tether strap. I have a 1997 SUV without tether attachment points or the LATCH system and with the extra strap, I can easily seat belt the seat in and attach the tether to the front seat base. It is faster to put it in my car than my Mother's new van with LATCH. I can't wait to turn him facing front in another 3 weeks. The only downside I see so far is the heat. We are in Tucson, AZ with temps in the 90's already and he gets really hot and sweaty very quickly. I hope this will be resolved when he turns around and can get some air from the front vents.Britax Convertible Baby Car Seat, Marathon Granite
