We have had this car seat for several years and are pleased with the purchase. Easy to install/re-install front or rear facing. Easy to get the kid in and out of. Good neutral color to match many car interiors. Most importantly, Britax car seats have a strong reputation for safety. Solid purchase.

This seat is the easist seat to instal, hands down! Britax also allows you to use the top tether while rear facing which helps to stabilize the car seat! This seat allows you to keep your child rear facing to 35lbs. which is the SAFEST way for a child to travel. The harness adjustor tightens smoothly & evenly and the tall harness slots allow you to keep your child harnessed for a long time!!...

This is so easy to install and such a safe carseat! My daughter got the exact same seat when she was a year old so there was no question that my son would get it too! He is only 6 months so we are using it as a rear-facing seat right now. I like the seat better front-facing because the top attach strap isn't in the way as much.... I HIGHLY recommend this seat to anyone looking!...

This was a pretty good seat. Both of our children have used it and neither seemed to be uncomfortable. My one beef, the elastic holding on the cover went out recently. Now we're always making adjustments......

I am thoroughly pleased with my Marathon car seat. My only warning is this. My daughter is currently 17 + pounds and about 24" long, and is still rear facing. When baby is rear facing, there should only be 2 fingers able to fit between baby's chest and the straps. I am always uncomfortable with how tight the straps are - they never seem tight enough, even when pulled as tight as they will go. I caution because I would not feel comfortable using this with a newborn, although the seat says it can be used for babies as small as 5 pounds. Though I gave this 5 stars for durability, I've only owned it for about 6 months so I can't really speak to durability beyond this period....

This car seat was very easy to install in our Honda CRV. I used the latch system. Though it is pricey, I do believe you get what you pay for. The seat seems very sturdy and durable....

This seat is amazing. My husband and I had really done tons of research on seats before we bought this one. Last night I was in an accident and my Tahoe rolled with my 15 month old in the back seat in the Britax Marathon seat. When I got to him, the car was still upside down and he was hanging still very secure in his seat and he smiled at me. When the car was flipped back over, the seat was secure, just as if we had just put it in. My insurance company told me not to use that seat and that they would replace it with a new one. So the reason I am out here it to order the EXACT same seat again. I feel that it kept my child safe and that is the most important thing to me. I would recommend this seat to my best friends and every family member.......

I have had the Britax Marathon for 3 years now, and am very satisfied with the product. Its very sturdy and seems very well made. The seat definitely makes you feel secure about your childs safety. If I could change anything about the seat is its -hugeness-it takes up a lot of space in my car. I highly recommend this seat. Its worth the money....

While at the top of the price list this car seat is well worth its money in GOLD!! Goes up to 65 lbs. and so comfortable the baby will be relaxed for the entire ride. But let's get real here any interminable amount of time in any one place an active baby/toddler/child will not want to sit still. I also bought another cover to go with it and they're not sweat buckets!! Highly recommended and worth every penny!!...

I purchased this car seat as a replacement for the Graco infant carrier that my son grew out of at 9 months. He is now almost 12 months and loves his car seat. It is easy to get him in and out and the Velcro to hold the straps back is awesome. I hated having to wrestle the straps out from under him in the infant carrier. I also really like the tether strap. I have a 1997 SUV without tether attachment points or the LATCH system and with the extra strap, I can easily seat belt the seat in and attach the tether to the front seat base. It is faster to put it in my car than my Mother's new van with LATCH. I can't wait to turn him facing front in another 3 weeks. The only downside I see so far is the heat. We are in Tucson, AZ with temps in the 90's already and he gets really hot and sweaty very quickly. I hope this will be resolved when he turns around and can get some air from the front vents....

We received this carseat as a baby shower gift and just love it. We started using it as soon as our son grew out of his infant carrier at only 5 months. It's super adjustable, and the latch system works great and is really easy to get the seat in and out when we need to switch cars. This seat is well worth the price and can be used until baby reaches 65 lbs....
