After eighteen years of service our old Bunn coffee maker finally bit the dust. The heating element just wasn't working as well as it did when it was new. We replaced it with this sleek model and absolutely love it.
I adore some of the changes that Bunn made. The first one is that the coffee won't start brewing until the pour-door is shut on the top-that is a great improvement. Another thing they did was improve the switch which no longer has ridges that collect grime! Thank goodness for that.
One thing I did not like was that the older models came with a pouring pitcher. The newer one did not....

This coffee maker is the BEST! Not only does it make EXCELLENT coffee but it is wonderful to have instant hot water whenever you need it. I use it for tea and soups and everything when cooking. When I am making noodles or Jello or anything that needs hot water I head for the Bunn coffee maker. The water is instantly ready when you need it, if you need boiling water you just start with the hot water from the coffee maker and it boils in just a minute. I just love this coffee maker!
