We carry two JVC models that have a light on the front the 120G and 360G

Also the Sony HDX-200 has night vision

In-camcorder-body lights will most certainly cut into your shooting duration, as it drains the main (and only) battery in the camera. It's also seldom the most flattering direction for light to be coming from, for most images -- unless you're looking for the "TV Cameraman Effect" as it were.

You're almost always better off with a separate lighting unit with its own power supply (battery), unless Absolute Simplicity of Operation is the primary concern.
