“A great camera”
Canon - 10.1MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera Kit —
This is the fourth digital camera I have owned. The previous three cameras have left me very dissapointed in their performance, which left me dependent on my film camera for the "good" shots. I wanted the best digital camera that was afforable. My film camera is a Canon EOS Rebel and, and I am totally satisfied with it which prompted me to investigate the Rebel digitals'. After a couple of hundred shots with the XTi and can tell you now I am "gonna" love it. This Camera performed flawlessy in the full automatic modes and the built-in flash is adequate for ahots up to 16 feet distance. My old 200E canon flash would not work with the XTi; however, alll of my Lenses used with my Film Rebel did work with the XTi. The lenses for the XTi would not fit the film Rebel. There was a slight difference in lens specification because a differnce in focal planes. The XTi produces excellent photos with a minimum amount of setup in the full auto modes or in the manual modes. the viewfinder has a wonderful nine-point foucus screen, and the large view screen doubles as a photo viewer and also display all of camera settings and battery condition at all times. I LOVE THIS CAMERA ALREADY, maybe it should have been named the GLC (Great Little Camera). If you are a tech spec junkie it also comes with best owners manual I have seen.Canon - 10.1MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera Kit
