A great camera

This is the fourth digital camera I have owned. The previous three cameras have left me very dissapointed in their performance, which left me dependent on my film camera for the "good" shots. I wanted the best digital camera that was afforable. My film camera is a Canon EOS Rebel and, and I am totally satisfied with it which prompted me to investigate the Rebel digitals'. After a couple of hundred shots with the XTi and can tell you now I am "gonna" love it. Camera is a value but if you want the best pictures you will have upgrade lens and flash. For a starter camera this is the best deal.

I love this camera. I had a 35mm SLR camera and it was great...this one has proven to be better. I have 2 small children and if I take time to dress them up and set up props, my pics look professional!! It is very easy to use. I am very electronic illiterate person, but this camera is very user friendly. I have even started taking landscape pics to decorate with. All of the other "regular" digital cameras would let me down, but this one stands tall. I bought this camera because all of the other cameras would flash before it would take the pic. This caused my baby's eyes to be closed in every pic.... review »

This camera can take you anywhere in the world of photography. It works wonderful! I have no regrets in buying this camera. This is my first Digital SLR camera as a photographer enthusiast and since the day i got it, it hasn't failed in any aspect. This camera produces very clear, vibrant images with it's Image stabilizer and dust reduction feature. It can also produce images with resolutions up to 10 million++ pixels. It's easy to navigate and control. It has different shooting modes and it really helped me in getting that perfect shot that i needed. The large LCD screen gave me an easy time previewing... review »

this is a great camera, i was very impressed with it. i have used some of the best cameras on the market and for the price, you can not find a better DSLr. if you want to get serious into photography, then you will NEED to upgrade your lens, but that is a given with an slr camera. if you get a chance, go to your nearest sears and try this camera out, you will not be dissapointed. Great camera for anyone that wants to take professional quality photos, wether its for portraits or landscape this is your camera :)
